This cannot be a real Card..........???

everyone is thinking the cards are faked
what if there not.
what are the reasons?
surely bgs would have picked that up, and surely if you were to fake 1 there would be signs of it being tampered with(edges)
right?

thanks karl your pics earlier in the thread were no longer there.
lol and beckett graded it!!! wow this is just outrageous.
quite sad how s#@t like this happens.

If it helps when I punch the serial number from that Beckett sticker into http://www.beckett.com/grading/bccg_card_lookup I get no results.

Given the misalignment on the slab, and the same seller has now listed the same card again unslabbed, then I wouldn't be surprised if the Beckett grading was faked.

That said, IIRC previously grades like PSA and Beckett have stated they don't authenticate the relics within a card, simply rate the condition of the card.

If i remember correctly i think I've tried looking up older beckett labels in the past maybe starting with 5's & 6's for e.g..
and nothing came up either a couple of times, that could easily be a typo on thier end who knows.
but faking a beckett case thats just a new ball game for me, me personally i don't think the case is fake.

i think beckett did grade the card and like you said they just grade the card and thats it.
