Resisted temptation all weekend but couldn't wait for the box to arrive from Warren tomorrow and had to bust something after seeing Traders busts appear on here... popped into a Newsagent in the city on the way into work and picked up 2 starter packs (4 packs each @ $12.99), busting now.

Am interested to see what I pull and whether there's any difference compared to picking up loose packs from the box.

So, just parallels then. Anyone open any starter packs and pull anything other than parallels? The packs all say the insert ratios on them so really I'd say there should be a chance of hitting inserts with them, right?

Then again, given what we've seen so far with the release it really wouldn't surprise me if they are really just commons and parallels...

In theory they should be the same..........but we could say "in theory" to a lot of whats happened with this release.

Yeah looks like quite a few are pulling inserts from the starter packs, so it's just me with horrid luck...

Anyway finally home from work with my box from Warren's share (Case 2 Box 10), quickly inhaled some dinner and busting now! Hope for some Mojo after the last 8 packs of nothing.

Well there you go. Ratios on the money, no major hits but always fun to bust a box. No corner damage that some of the others are reporting, so lucky there. I think I'll collect the Retirements set, other than that just gotta hunt down the Raiders for the PC. Thanks for watching folks.

Finally had some Traders luck!

Had the temptation to bust a couple of packs so swung by a 7-11 in the city this arvo while walking back to work, but the queue was too long so I gave up. Kept walking and popped into the next 7-11 I came across which was empty and picked up two packs there, them ummed a bit before grabbing a third pack... Glad I did.

First pack: Payne Retirement
Second pack: Nothing
Third pack: George Burgess Young Gun

Now I just need to find a Souths fan with an Edrick Lee YG...
