I reckon its because they aren't cheap so its very easy for people to rule a tazo out from their collection, I know alot of people who only focus on standard card size stuff and dont worry about anything that is an odd size or from overseas (e.g maggi cards), they grab them if they dont cost alot (like basic tazos) but as soon as you get into higher prices it becomes much easier to draw the line there then say if it were to be a standard sized card limited to a print run of 20, (especially now that esp have made it impossible for all but one person to get a truely complete collection with their 1 of 1 redemption cards).
