I'm stuffed with the receipt for the first m.o. can't find it

I have the one for the second one though, they said they have got that one, just waiting on the cards to arrive, hope they do

Just gonna have to try get the $50 US I have lost by selling a card or something

Ok this is not unique to me but this is the one part of collecting I hate.....

Waiting for cards to arrive.

You win the cards off ebay, you complete the trades and until the card is in your hands, theres a whole world of waiting, uncertaintly and worry just hoping the cards arrive ok.

I'm waiting on a couple of cards at the moment to arrive via USPS Global Insured/Registered delivery and after reading the stories on here recently about packages being opened and cards going missing.....

I'm crapping myself.

Hopefully I wont have anything to worry about.....like the 100's of other times I have received cards ok. I had one situation of a card going missing though I believe this was due to the seller not bothering to send the card that I won cheaply on ebay...they went NARU'd shortly after the auction.

But in saying this there's always that chance that you go to pick up the package and the card is missing, or the package simply doesnt arrive.

I'm hoping early next week that i'll receive the Aussie Post Notification saying the cards have arrived, but until then, im sweating like a Corby in Customs.

I hate this too!!

The worst one I had recently was a sweet KG/Bosh dual patch #21/50. Me and Jordan Rules had worked hard at sorting out a sell thru a friend of his and when he finally sent it from OZ it took 10 days to get here - usually it's 4 or 5.
It was thru no fault of his - for some nutty reason it just took 10 days!! I know - it's only 10 days - but it was coming from Oz not the states!!!!

My wife always calms me down in these situations and says "they always show up....." and usually the next day they do.....

Another one I had recently was my KG #21/21 00-01 auto which was being couriered from Taiwan (a bit like Mr KG's situation...). Me and the guy did the deal - then I waited all week and nothing showed up - I'm starting to worry as the deal was done outside any forum....
Then I get an email from the guy - "posted today - had 2 day festival holiday here - cheers" I was very relieved as it was a lot of $ for me

Iguess the moralof the story is - they'll all get there inthe end

One of the cards I spent quite a fair bit on, will not elaberate how much I spent on it, lol! arrived on Thursday, awesome card too, as a big Red Sox collector I was excited to win this one, haven't seen many of them

Waiting is a painful process, especially when you spend up big on something you want so bad.

8 months is a long time to send off tho.

Try Kristijan (Kobe Collector from Germany on here), he sent something to a mate in the US for Grading, it got there, they sent it back, it got tied up in Customs, they wanted him to prove it was his, and prove the value of them, then because he couldnt in X amount of days, they shipped back to his mate in the US. Only to have the same process go through again, but he was able to get them when they were sent again...

I'm still waiting on an envelope from Canberra from Justo, we've exchanged address twice both occasions have been what's on the envelope face, yet it is turned away, unknown address...??

Or try the parcel (express) I sent to Al (QLD) which still, from this day has yet to arrive... 7 days max usually for express, anywhere around Oz....

Sometimes it's just so hard.
