So much like the VFL and SANFL, Channel Seven has snapped up the broadcast rights to the WAFL from this year.

However, there's just one sizable hitch... in March last year West Perth signed on Channel 9 as its major sponsor, and now Channel 7 is refusing to broadcast any West Perth games unless they remove the Channel 9 News logo from their guernseys.

Now West Perth fans are planning on turning up to games, any games, to stand behind the goals with big Channel 9 signs

There's are garbage story on Perth Now with a headline declaring the Suns are looking to poach Sandilands when he hits free agency at the end of 2015.

There is very little substance to the story. Beyond Sandilands manager also managing a bunch of WA kids at Gold Coast (Matera, O'Meara, Bennell, Swallow), there's no connection.

Besides, between Smith, Nicholls, Gorringe, and Dixon, Suns are rich with ruckman ready to hit their peak.

Sandilands will be 33, is constantly battling some ailment, and is no where near as dynamic as the Suns' crop.
