For those who don't know the story; '92 Stops were the very first ever NBL set released.
They were only released for sale for a single day, before they recalled ALL the boxes in Australia and removed all #55 Tiny Pinder's after Pinder launched legal action.
I've only ever seen 3x Tiny's in 20yrs with less than 100 known to have been pulled, with far less than that, believed to have survived to now.
Anyway, needless to say, this is the most expensive base card I have ever purchased, but it does complete my 1992 Stops set
It breaks my heart that 'peeping tom' is what 99% of the population think of, when they hear Al's name. He is one of the best imports to ever lace up his boots in this country, and paved the way for most great imports that followed him
Hey guys, I'm new here and acquired a few packs of the 92 nbl stops.
would the tiny pinder be likely to be in them?
The rear of the pack says to send a money order to claim the Perth back to back card as well as the logo card. I believe after the recall these 2 cards came part of the set in packs purchased.
Ok that sux cause i have 78 unopened packs in the original box.
I honestly thought they'd be there cause of the money order note on the rear stating they'd send you the other 2 cards but anyways, $40 for 80 packs is still not a bad pickup.
