Damn, I thought Stackhouse missing the two free throws right there at the end was going to be bad news but the Mavs held on. How good is that?! Nowitzki was huge!

Sounds logical. Had he have made it Spurs would have called the time out and got the ball inbounded from half court. If he bounced it off the front of the rim theres a good chance time would have expired. Still pretty embarrassing to throw up an airball.
not like I underestimated the mavs, but they have only done what they had to do so far...steal one, and win on their home floor...it could all crumble if they lose the next game.
dirk shoots 3-9...but 21-24 FT's...man being a jump shooter, thats a LOT of FTs.
but besides that, the spurs have gotta make some changes. Id actually like to see Pop go small...ie parker, manu, finley, bowen, duncan.
Horry has been garbage (I'll say this in the hope he goes "game 5 in lasy years finals" style in the next few games!)

If you watched the game you'd realise Dirk is a lot more than a perimieter shooter, he personally drew 3 fouls on duncan to ensure poor timmy got to watch the game's final moments from the pine

How was Dirk soft from that game's performance? Cos he sprained his ankle, and continued to play?
He didnt need to shoot jumpers, he attacked the rim when not open, and shot when he was. That's his game.
Harris put on an amazing performance. He seems to do this only against the Spurs. Maybe Avery should look at starting Harris/Jet together in future, see what happens.
There were some bad calls made, but they were made on both ends of the court.

no no no ... im not saying he was soft yesterday, im saying over all.. i know he's a different dirk to the one i started hating in all those sacto series, but i just think, until he does something, and beats the spurs, he hasnt accomplished much with his franchise.. they're a soft franchise and play well below their potential.. i cant explain it, same thing with marion.. just dont like him..
