Are we still World Champions or what?

Man this thread does'nt get bumped enough, time to start reminding fools...

I expect all Laker fans to be a little more vocal this season, time to go defend a title, unlike other flash in the pans...

Also, nice find by digeze, my man Farmar needs to step it up this season!

Bring on the title defence!

Opening game against the Clips today and I will begin the year with a big call - Lakers will start the season undefeated through Oct and Nov - a 16-0 start. They have only 4 away games with only @Denver a threat.

Bynum is back bigger and better and we now have Crazy Ron to lock down opposition SF.

Go Lakers!!

I see no Gasol still hamstring any word on how long he will be out for??

Bynum should be a bigger and stronger force this season i think he should sit out the games we play against (either Memphis or the Wolves cant remember which team he did his knee twice)Just to be on the safe side!!!

Started the Title Defence well against the LA Scrubbers.....

Nice start to the season. Bynum has looked real good in the pre season, well his stats have anyway. Sitting at about 20 and 10 per game. If Bynum can stay out of foul trouble and the team stays healthy who could stop us?

Bynum 20 + 10
Gasol 20 + 10
Artest 15 + 5
Kobe 30 + 5
Fish/Farmar 10 + 10 dimes

pretty nice and also to think u still have Brown and Odom coming off the bench. Bring it on.

Looking like he may be back for the third game this weekend against the Hawks. Would like for Bynum miss the Memphis games too mate, but then again I'd like proof that there is no curse by seeing him through an easy 20/10 game in Memphis.

Ultimately, thats the key. Keeping Bynum healthy and active.

Looking like another solid season for Brown and was great watching Artest and Odom in with the bench the other day. While the bigs and Kobe are resting up, those guys in that rotation still look better than some starting fives.

I hope so mate. It's been a long time coming waiting for this kid to explode. He only just turned 22 but the health factor is the worry, if he can stay healthy and out of foul trouble, he'll finally turn some heads. Here's to doing that consistently this season.

Just watched some highlights of the game against the Clippers...Damn up by 19 at one point and to get the W by 7.....Lets hope those Fadeouts dont happed too often this season...Cant wait to Pau Back and see where we are mid season....Here are some highlights OZ check out your Boy Mbenga @ 2:50 mark....

Congo Cash with the put back!

I wouldn't worry about the lead loss, opening night, they were just toying with them for the most part. Tough test against the Mavs today, especially with Pau out. I think they'll test a few teams this season and turn alotta heads.

Yeah man, I've been a big wrap for this Mavs line up and they impressed tonight.

Still, I'm gonna play the 'No Pau Card'.

That put back from Brown was off the Rictor Scale...

Lakers are a great team but this is a testimony to the depth of the West.

Like I predicted, I think the Spurs, Nuggets and Mavs will hotly contest with the Lakers this year. All teams (minus the Nuggets) have upgraded weaponry
