What was wrong with my post? Did you watch the game? Essendon targeted Bernie Vince all night, he ended up with 28 touches and 10 clearances as well as a goal.

Just because you lost by 96 points doesn't mean you aren't allowed to be put in your place. ****er. :thumbsup:

And McVeigh was driving Vince in the ground, pushing him in the face the entire game, I was right there FFS.

Congrats to the Crows.

I'm fairly happy with the Bombers season. Haven't even looked like a finals team for a few seasons and still got there even without Hille. Hopefully we have some good young players to build with.
 
Overall I'm happy with Essendon's season, a club with the personell out like we did are hardly a rabble. The ruck idea was wrong, but we would have lost anyway so why not try something.

As for Crows2009, just because you were there means nothing and it shows, because all the crows supporters were booing Lovett and he did nothing (literally), it was Lovett-Murray that was getting into Vince.

Finals was a bonus for us this year, we're improving and should be back next year with 2 quality ruckmen instead of none.

I'm precious and you're the 1 crying about Vince? It's football. Good on Vince for stepping up despite the treatment! I would have thought Vince's game and the 96 point win was enough...but I guess some supporters can't see the positives...

I think it has to do with the fact the the poor South Australian footy community is so hard done by....

Anyway, I hope the Crows beat the pies next week, that would be great!!

It's called tagging. Getting under someone's skin is a main part of it, and you must really not watch much footy if you're getting dirty over it here. Go and watch Ablett or Judd run around and tell me they don't cop it even worse. Or is it because you don't appreciate it happening to your guy? The fact that he had a great game despite it says a lot about how used to it the ball magnets are.

And to be fair, coming into a bombers thread after we just got humiliated and saying critical things, no matter how true or well intentioned you might think they are, is never going to end well. What did you honestly expect the reaction to be at calling us a rabble and our players dirty?

I also hope the Crows beat the pies! And I'm happy with our season overall, but it was just such a terrible showing last Friday.

He made finals didn't he? I'd say he had a more than a clue, just probably a bad mistake, everyone does it from time to time , Malthouse played Rocca? Are you going to tell me he doesn't have a clue too?
 
Bombers will be replaced in the 8 next year by west coast, lloyd will retire, fletcher will be gone the year after, better start developing a descent forward line while you can no use playing young inexperienced kids, look to draft barry hall or a nathan brown type player could be good use for a few years.

Yeah, you come into a Bombers thread and gloated, and then you act shocked when people take offense and react against you? That's the issue here. I'm fine with you making your own Crows thread and gloating all you want, go for your life, but doing it here is just tactless and low class. It's like going to a funeral and telling everyone what a dick the guy was, it's just not the place.

So did you see the game against Fremantle a few weeks earlier? Bellchambers cannot play at this level yet (he's third string behind a guy who doesn't even play ruck most of the time for a very good reason) and the overall result would not have changed if he played, what Knights did was take a risk and it backfired. When you lose your only real ruckman in Hille very early in the year and then are extremely lucky Ryder switches positions and does amazingly well, losing him spells disaster whatever changes you try and make to the side after that. It's not like Knighter pulled the idea from nowhere, and he tried to turn what would definitely be a weakness in one area into a strength in another and it just didn't work. Thank God we're not all like you and crucify any coach that makes an unorthodox move or the game would have stagnated and died long ago.

And no, any coach who takes a young side that has had to deal with more long term injuries than normal to the finals does know what he's doing. That's not even the Bomber bias in me talking, it's just a stupid statement to make and it shows you're the one with no idea.

Just to repeat, you're a tool. Ha ha the crows lost to Collingwood....Collingwood got towelled by the Cats...so what does that make the Crows? Average. With Hille, Ryder and Lloyd we woulda killed you guys. Do you wanna take all my Crows GDCs before I burn them?:lol::lol::lol:

Your an idiot mate. Why look to cause trouble? Did you really have to bring up a 4 week old post!? Hille, Ryder and Llyod may have made a difference, but not to the tune of 96 points!

Essendon supporters can keep living on hopes and dreams and being satisfied with just "making the 8". And before you jump on it, i'd prefer to have our finals record over the last 5 years then Essendon's!
