Will be a very interesting season as there is about 12 teams that will fight it out for the 8 with Newcastle again in for a struggle.
in the modern era has any team gotten three consecutive spoons?

No Souths were close 2003 / 2004 / 2006 but interestingly out of the current 16 teams the Eels are winning the wooden spoon race.in the modern era has any team gotten three consecutive spoons?
Played quite a few games there last year and had a good record there, stats can be changed to reflect whatever you want them to look like.
I think we may of won 4/4, dogs twice, tigers once and souths once
Having Mary as our coach wouldn't fill me with confidence either
And Josh McCrone as the halfback to a team that's attacking record was second worse in the NRL last season
Im thinking we will come within the 8 this season with a log jam of other sides, will be the closest season everNo Souths were close 2003 / 2004 / 2006 but interestingly out of the current 16 teams the Eels are winning the wooden spoon race.
Won 3 lost 1 last year
Touche......but my expectations are set realistically, we will come 8th.
Cheers

This has become a thread about the 2017 comp instead of Traders
Traders: Corey NormanLets get it back on topic......who would you like to see signing for your team?
For me the ideal scenario would be:
Traders: Tyrone Peachey
Elite: Trent Merrin (LS) & Nathan Cleary (YG)
Traders: Austin
Powerplay: Soliola
Elite: Rapana (LS), Tapine / Bateman (YG)
RTF jersey signature: Leilua / Whitehead
Need them to go back to the same management company as last years traders as Corey Norman is managed by themTruth be told there is not one player in the best 17 who I would be disappointed in having a signature card!!
We know Konrad Hurrell is the Titans SAS and I think he is managed by Inventus Sports
True but we made history last year and going to do it again B2BHistory says that its going to be very difficult to go back to back with the last team to do it being the Broncos in 1992-93.
Losing Barba and Ennis will be a big step to overcome as well (but im sure Ben Barba will be back on a much reduced contract for the Sharks later in the season, gotta love the soft stance of Teflon Todd Greenberg. Todd better look after his old bulldog player)
And everyone said sharks won't win premiership in 2016, and how did that go?Sharks wont win as cant go back to back. Eels wont win cause they will find some way to fuk it up in back office
Thought sharks fans would want Maloney over TownsendId Like to see:=
Traders :- Townsend
Elite - Capewell (yg), Lewis (LS)
Xtreme - Leutele
