Well apparently this is the not so tough day at the office - at least you guys should all know how tough at the office it can get......

We just had our 12 week scan today!!!!!!!!

Expecting our first child somewhere at the start of Feb (Been told 6th or the 10th - plus it will come when it wants)

Blown away by the scans and how clear they are.

And before someone else gets in no, it has not got my Tasmanian genes - only one head

Boom! Congrats man!! What are you hoping for?
Thanks Rhys, hoping for a baby! No really don't mind funnily enough Bec's family wants a girl (Her parents have 3 grandsons) and my family wants a boy as the last boy was my cousin in 1983, so we win either way. We're also lucky in that we are close to my niece and her nephew so have been able to really enjoy the differences between boys and girls, but also realise that it doesn't matter.

Wow! Now that's some awesome news!

Planned or surprise??
Planned, but happened faster than expected. Stupid thing was that everyone expected us to walk off the plane and announce back in April, but there was no way Bec was going to be in France and Italy and not be able to enbjoy the food and drink there.

Have to say, the difference between the 12 week scan and the Fas scan at about 18 weeks is amazing.....you go from this alien like critter to a little human being with arms and legs and well other things depending on what it is.

Very excited for you both!

Cheers
Matt

The Ob described it well - the teddy bear phase, big head, big body and little stumpy arms and legs.
