This submission was facilitated by the fantastic people at The Hobby Australia. This is my fourth submission and I highly recommend them for your sub needs!
Basketball:
This submission was mainly an NFL one, but I did have a few beauties that I had pulled over the past year that I wanted to get graded:
1. 2020 Panini Prizm Lebron James Silver Prizm #1:
Bought one off eBay and one off my mate, and I am pretty sure the mate's one came through with the goods here. I wouldn't usually grade a card like this but it's a fairly iconic
2. 2020 Donruss Optic LaMelo Ball Blue Velocity #153:
Had a brutal run with Optic, and this was probably the only decent card I pulled out of LOTS of retail. Glad to tuck this one away.
3. 2021 Donruss Elite Cam Thomas Aspirations #222:
I love the poor mans PMG, so had to get my boy Cam done! Have a Giddey on the way to PSA in the October submission
4: 1997 Topps Michael Jordan #123:
This was a decoy card that was used to get a poor grade out of the way! Next time, i'll choose something a bit nicer, but happy with this card.
Baseball:
5: 2018 Topps Opening Day Shoei Ohtani #200:
Old pull from a box back in the day. Should have opened more
Soccer:
6. 2016 Panini Donruss Cristiano Ronaldo Silver #138: (Pop 2)
Found this was very low pop and couldn't find any other sold anywhere. Couldn't sell it so I just graded it for fun. Glad i did end up sending this one off.
Football:
Just a bunch of cards ripped from the past few years:
PSA10's
PSA9's
Budgeted that these would be 9's except for the Herbert. I will need to be more careful next time review these cards.
These were all under 500us so nothing worth upcharging. So what did you end up getting up-charged for out of this lot?
I was pretty confident on the Select.love the CeeDee
Hi all,
Any hints/tips as to the best way of getting cards graded (PSA/Beckett not Australian Grading Services)?
Is it best to send my cards to SMC and then commence the grading process, should I use a third party in Australia or should I go direct to Beckett/PSA.
Would love any suggestions and feedback on what others are finding currently.
Thanks in advance
This is the only correct answer!

Still got a bunch due early 2023.
Any reason why you get the PSA auto's graded?
It's not something I feel collectors really feel is required and is only really a potential deduction of the card value?

It's a 10 on a slab. All psychological.
I don't sell my cards hahahaFair enough, do you feel you've had the return over the additional grading fee's for 9 card grade/10 auto's to justify it?
Take my advice with a pinch of salt because I'm not an investor and I don't grade...but 99.9% certain, for resale value PSA is the clear leader.A newby getting back into the game after so many years. Have a question on grading and more so local graders vs PSA and BGS.
I bought a card thats been graded by TCG as a 9. For resell value, is it better to get it regraded by PSA or BGS? Or given we mostly sell to local market it doesnt really matter?
