Was really weird.

I have 2FA and all the bells and whistles so i know 100% that nobody tried hacking. Bloody scared me.

What also scared me was their email looked like a phishing attempt!!!!

How about the ebay sellers that have PSA 10? in the title for a raw card. If you know it's a 10 surely you'd send it off to PSA and quadruple your money. Makes me laugh 🤣

Yep. Pretty stupid thing to put in the title.

There are some people though that obviously can't be bothered going through the grading process.

I was looking at a sale thread today where the card was listed as pack fresh. Going by the good photos provided, it looked to me like the card would have a pretty fair shot at a 10.

Moths to a flame that one. But I do understand the "let someone else deal with the massive wait and hassle of grading" approach to selling raw.

Spent $100 on an Andre Drummond Blank Slate on ebay. Card rocks up and there is a big indent line from the base of the card to the middle. Card was in a sleeve, top loader, boarded & in a padded mailer so I don't think it would have been from postage? But the seller also has 100% feedback on ebay. There was no mention of damage in the description.
How should I handle this?

If they have positive feedback then its possible they didn't deliberately send you a damaged card.

I had a damaged package arrive once with tyre marks on it. It was literally driven over. At the end of the day a toploader can only do so much. I'd be following up with Auspost. You should be covered up to $100 without having to pay extra for insurance. Then sell it for $25 and you'll be on top. I buy damaged cards sometimes when I'm not planning to ever resell them.

Yeah, I understand these things happen. The one thing that doesn't make sense to me is that there is no damage to the cards on the outside of it nor the cardboard surrounding it. Makes me thing it had to be sent like that.

It was almost certainly sent like that but they probably didn't look at the card properly. Out of curiosity how much feedback do they have and how much have you got?

The bloke who tried scamming me also tried doing over a bunch of other blokes on Australian Sport Card Scammers!

I need to thank them for pretty much getting me my refund!
