The Crown Jewel in your collection

Woah, check out that Bird!!!

The MJ is sweet, looks unreal!

Love that Melo.

What a thread. Imagine checking back in a year or two, or even 10 years. See how cards have evolved.

Great stuff!

this would have to be close for me. close call on a nique star xrc but this had to be a good fav

Vlad,
that's an awesome Jordan....Im actually trying to sell some stuff off (The Ultimate Jersey set #/175 I put together) to put towards a MJ auto.

Cheers
Matt

id be interested in some of those jerseys matt, lmk if i can see some scans or just list what youve got on the table.

duckman, i thought that nique/erving dual auto was beautiful when i first saw, it looks even better the second time round, that card is just friggin gorgeous. id prefer that to my nique auto any day!

Its listed at 1983 but there has been contention that date was wrong.

You could almost say this Bird is his first card but I wouldn't count schedules even though its a card not a fold out like most. Its for the 78-79 college season. Mines not in great condition though :-(

Yeah there's a massively bad scratch in the top left corner!!!

Ok, here is the crown jewel in my collection!

This is a card I pulled (unsigned) from one of the cricket series that was produced back in the late 90's. This card from memory was from a set of 10 and these fell about 1:72 packs.

I was fortunate enough to have this card signed by the great man himself.

Enjoy.....

 Bradman auto! That's nice=P~
I have an unopened pack of the first release Weetbix Bradman cards. Hopefully it contains an auto inside, lol. But I will never know, because I ain't going to open it, lol. Very nice though Matt!

This has to be one of my favoured cards for the Crown Jewel in my Collection. I pulled this sucker myself which is why I'll probably never sell it, lol. 01-02 Upper Deck BuyBack Auto 6/88. Man was it an awesome feeling pulling that card!

Other than my dirk 1/1 my other fav is my Felton auto 3 color patch gold numbered to his jersey 20/25 mainly because I pulled it. Do you guys feel the same and tend to have a soft spot for cards you have pulled rather than ones you have shelled out for? I know I find it heaps harder selling or trading a card I've pulled rather than one if paid for and can put a $ value on.

Not really there, Shoes. The Quad Auto I pulled I am much rather moving than keeping, due to not really collecting those players. But, on the other hand, if it was an Orlando Quad auto (say Dwight, Jameer, Hill & Francis), I would keep it.

There are some pulls I feel sentimental about and place a high value on it, but others I'd be happy to trade away in a sec (eg. my first auto pull :p it was that bad!).

^ Have you still got that Pargo auto? ;) Does it hold any sentimental value? You should lower that sentimental value down if you wish to move it, otherwise...... ;)

ROFL Pargo is a playoff performer!!
3 games: 2.7 mins/game, 4 points total and 3 turnovers :)

Might be a keeper you think?

Anyway, I have a prior deal for it with the queen of uncircs!

It will not be in my possession for very much longer
