The Perth Test is a D/N game so we will have one game against the Kiwis with the pink ball.

How good is Labuschagne by the way - he’s got a real Test match technique, reckon he has a long and prosperous career ahead of him.

From an NZ point of view, Hopefully Boult will be fit. We need him for the series against you guys. Like everyone else, still got to figure out how to get Smith out for less than 80!

If Smith happens to fail again this innings the strategy should be pretty clear, just let the top 3 basically get tons each and you will get Smith cheaply
 
Anyone hear Mark Waugh talking on Fox about how he doesn't mind giving IPS, but doesn't understand why people need more than one autograph.

Howie asked him if he'd heard of Ebay.

Mark decided that from here on in, he'll only be giving one signature to each person, and that's it.

Conversation was done in a jovial manner, but probably just a heads up to those out there who might try to get stuff signed by past players.
 
Is it just me, or is the BBL tonight like amateur hour?? For a professional league, the Heat/Thunder game, the players were atrocious! It's like their uniforms were handed out to them 5 mins before the game and are 2 sizes too baggy, a yellow hat amongst the Thunder, crappy fielding by both sides, scrappy looking presentation and what the hell is with Laughlins oversized arm guard?!!! Are the hierarchy hoping the boys all grow into their uniforms by the end of the season?? I feel like I've just watched the Fourths play and not the Big Bash!!

The yellow hat represents something, I half heard them talking about it. Something like top run scorer.

Copying the IPL been doing it for years there. Leading run scorer and leading wicket taker for tournament. If you look closely each team will have one or two ready to go as they still have the team sponsor on side of the hat. Ie Callum Ferguson had the thunder so onsite on his hat and if someone batting tonight scores more than him, they will wear it with their team sponsor on it etc.

Another reason to NEVER allow petulant boychild Smith a leadership role.. Sooks like a baby with body language tantrums to match... You seriously cannot expect a run to count as a batter when you body block the ball and make no effort to play the shot. What a sooky crybaby...
