Yeah good point, definitely looked like it was going to be a lot worse. A couple of great run outs didn't hurt either!Pretty good effort to knock them over for 482 on a disgraceful road of a pitch and missing two front line bowlers
Easy, give it a minute before you rip into JLHead and Laubusagne sadly looked like they'd never encountered a single spinning ball before. Make M Marsh look like Don Bradman.
I remember when 50-60 First Class average and a 1000 runs a summer might get you a baggy green.
Maxwell and Renshaw are desperately unlucky. The JL era...gosh...
I can't begin to believe who in their right mind, at any level of cricket in Australia thought it was conceivably possible that Mitch Marsh was a #4 Test batsman!
He must have been tired from all that bowling he did, because, umm...yeah...he's an all rounder too, so we're told.
What an effort by Australia! Khawaja, Paine and Lyon simply outstanding effort under so much pressure. One of the best Australian performances in Asia.....
That JL era is looking alright now isn't itI've waited two decades or more for stubborn resistance from an Australian side.

Massive effort today, we had no right to draw that match. Khawaja with a well-deserved man of the match award, should do wonders for his confidence. Paine played a captain's innings when we needed it most. Plenty of improvement in us and things to work on but things are looking up
