Just wanted to express my thanks to Select Australia on great service i received with a damage card from Infinty.

Story goes...

I busted a box of 2011 Select Infinity early this week. Ended up scoring the Isaac Smith DPS card (#126/275) which i was stoked about being a Hawks Supporter and all.
Then i noticed a small straight line crease about 5mm from the bottom of the card. To me it seemed like the card got damaged while being manufactured.
I sent an email to Select Australia in regards to this issue to find out what can be done since at the time i didnt think i could get this replaced because it was an authentic signature.
I received an email no more than 1 hour later in relation to my issue and was told that if I send the card back to them then they will replace it via Express Post.
I asked how this could be done since its a signature, turns out they busted a case themselves and had one spare (#26/275).

I sent the card back yesterday via regular post, and received the replacement card back today!! what service!!

Not only was the card replaced but its a much lower numbered card to the one i pulled early in the week.

I've heard some negitive feedback about Select Australia sending cards out but this ones Positive!!

I think the problems with Select are if your redeeming a redemption card, quite often they dont return your top loaders etc etc. but i must admit, the Select customer support for damaged cards is exceptional, they always try their best to replace anything damaged. customer service is everything these days! well done Pete, good story.
 
The negative feedback about Select is rarely regarding service. I purchase cases every year and every year there are quality issues with the cards. They always respond very quickly and replace the cards very quickly which i appreciate. However, year after year it starts to get to the point where you question - "I've spent thousands of dollars on this product and every single time i have to then pay more to send in damaged cards via registered post to get replaced" The service is great, just wish i didn't have to rely on it with every single release :(
 
Yep it is a good thing to do, but it is also just general good service that every respectable organisation around the world would provide.

A faulty product was replaced. The right thing happened, but it would have also happened with a toaster or a computer etc
 
Great result mate!

I have had Select do a similar thing for me in the 2011 Champions Series so I don't have anything negative to say about them!
