The winds are really picking up in Townsville, so i can just imagine what it is like for Cardwell & Innisfail.

I remember being scared in Karratha when a cyclone came within a couple of hundred Km's so I can only imagine how people are feeling in north QLD right now especially with it being just after midnight and in darkness :( I hope everyone evacuated early and are all safe !!!

I know Michael (TSS501) lives (or used to) in Townsville. Hopefully anyone else who lives up there is safe.

Cheers

Used to but Mum, Dad, and sister still there. Mum went to sisters and have lots of flora damage. Tree in the yard took the power out with it when it came down. Dad's place has lost a lot of trees. He has not come out of his bunker yet. Spent 12 hours in it now. Luckily it has a toilet in it. I am going to offer to go up to Townsville to help with the comms once you can get back there. That is all I have been doing since the floods here in Bris.
