Tap 'N' Play CA & BBL 2015/16 Official Thread.

I was also lucky enough to get mine today. They came at 3pm Queensland time. Are we allowed to post pictures of what we got yet or do we have to wait?

Cheers

My thoughts are:

Common cards look and feel great

I think there is one thing that could really improve the set and that is the individual numbering.

The medal cards are limited to 175 but are unnumbered, even the golds are limited to approx. 260.

You only need to have a quick look at Naz's new release to see the interest that numbering creates.

As people trade to get their favourite numbers or as many as the same as possible that keeps the secondary market strong with trading (which keeps peoples interest in the release higher for longer) which in turn keeps people buying packs/boxes from the source.

The thing I have found disappointing so far, is that I only got 1 complete common set out of 2 boxes. First box was great but second box had 3's and 4's of some base cards. Also the silvers and golds are disappointing. I'm sure this will be disgussed more when people start opening packs and boxes.

Haha yeah we gotta get ours first ? Express post is meant to be next day delivery not sit in Sydney for 24 hours wow

Agree mate about the base sets especially after you are "guaranteed a whole base set". In my 2 boxes I got 7 of 1 card and 1 of about 10 cards.

I think we can all agree the cards are excellent quality, yet the collation is poor. In the few boxes busted so far, there have been some boxes with duplicate inserts, others with inserts missing & others with extra ones - @Bronco79 got two young stars in one box! In a case I would expect the higher end inserts ie. Superstars & Young Stars to be all different, yet with my three boxes from the one case I ended up with two young stars the same. With the silver & golds, some are spot on & others I pulled are way off centre.

I must admit I am dissapointed with the album. They had feedback last year about the placement of the metal ring binder being on the side instead of all other albums which are on the bottom. The net result is the cards get damaged when the pages bunch up. You have to be ultra careful or the first two & last two pages will end up having cards with large dings from the binder rings. Its a simple thing, however can seriously damage your cards easily if you are not very careful.

Hopefully Tap n play stick with it & they continue to improve - learning from feedback. Overall its a great product, & we should be getting behind them to ensure they keep producing sets.

Reading back on your comments, I agree about the binder however the overall album has a very cool design and I love the album card!
