Good to see so much interest in the baseball forums all of a sudden 
For those who are not sure, Strasburg is the next "big thing". As mentioned, drafted #1 last year, absolutely tore it up in the minor leagues, 100mph fastball (plus great location)...started 3 games. 14 strikeouts in his first game.
Plus it is a Bowman, the unofficial home of "true" rc's...Plus its an auto. Plus its a 1/1.
However those who remember Brien Taylor, Ben Macdonald and some other "can't miss" pitchers will be cringing when they see this auction...
I read somewhere the seller already had it at $50k BIN but no takers. It's a shame, this card could have fetched some serious (maybe $100k ish) but its too hard to tell what is real and what is not now. I feel sorry for the seller.

Might still be at a seriously high amount at the moment, but as suggested, what is real and whats not? Is the seller going to see even close to half of the current amount???
