Stolen Delly NT RPA 2/5: Now for Sale!

I see on blowout you said the original seller is not registered anymore.

What about your paypal reciept? Thatd have his email address..,

Put the fear in him. Email saying the police are enquiring.

I'd buy it on eBay, then put an item not revived claim, it's yours anyways, police won't do jack, they will say it's an Amercian police problem most likely

That's why I asked what happened because if he received a full refund, even though it may have increased in value, I'd be less inclined to be pursuing/expecting an outcome through eBay other than them taking the listing down.

True, seems like a buyer didn't get what he was hoping then got sellers remorse

If that seller wasn't happy with 350 at the time I don't know what he was hoping for, if that's correct as per the BO thread? That seems like a sick now and even more so at that time am I wrong?

I would have been very happy, but as we all know, some people get a low numbered card with a nice patch and want stupid money, some people are never happy with a price

Thanks all, I really appreciate the responses and am sorry I'm late in replying!

Did you end up getting a refund? Or what was the outcome with that seller?

Yes, but with much difficulty. After initially having a missing item case go against me, I finally received back my money after demonstrating that no proof of delivery was available from COMC's end. Seems eBay needed a refresher on their own refund policies

I have tried contacting the original seller but with no luck; I have some doubts as to whether he set out to scam me from the start but certainly can't rule out that possibility.

Bottom line is: as far as I'm concerned this card is stolen property and should be considered untouchable/damaged goods by any self respecting member of our hobby and just getting awareness of this was pretty much the point of my thread.

Cheers all and here's to Delly coming up big in this Finals series!

I've been in contact with the current seller of this card over eBay and they have provided me with evidence that this card was purchased from another party.

So I am posting to clarify that the current holder of this card - eBay ID johnnyandbronny - is NOT a thief or scammer; rather a seeminglyinnocent party (this card was sold to them for $150-200 less than what the other copies have gone for) in the possession of a stolen card.

That this card may have passed through a few hands since it was originally reported missing/stolen last year does not magically indemnify it to now be sold and traded openly - only the owners of serial #'s 1, 3, 4 & 5 retain the right to do so.

Thanks all for the feedback and suggestions; its a shame to see another nice card tainted by people's greed and shadiness...

Johnnynbronny don't even have any feedback score yet
Big card to start off from 0%
What was the evidence mate?

Yeah, the whole situation is pretty suss to me... He linked me to eBay listing 271851604052... apparently his mum bought it for him or something. There's no evidence to suggest that he is directly involved with the card going missng last year though.

I am done with this card, as far as I'm concerned it no longer exists in this hobby and may as well have been lost in the mail!

Saying his mum bought if for him is also suss. Since he has no feedback I would assume its a new account and the guy did the dodgy on you. I don't mean to be cynical but it just sounds off.

Short of harassing every seller that lists it forever more, or buying it and claiming not received there's nothing you can do but move on otherwise you'
ll go crazy - you got a refund, in this day and age that's more than most in the ebay/paypal system.......

I feel for you, man. What a terrible situation. If I was in your shoes it would be so hard not to retaliate and buy the card and claim it never arrived. At least you got a refund, so many guys are out the card and the money.

Not meaning to re-open old wounds, but the way Delly's playing these last few games, that card's loss has to sting even more... :(
