I came across a couple stories on Mr Hill this morning, here and here.
It looks as though he'll be back this season and from the sounds of it will be in good shape..

Well im hope he gets up and can play at least as well as a couple of seasons ago... he was the best all-round in the L when he was with the pistons, a real shame to see him hobble around the hardwood, even more of a shame that the majority of the time he has been sitting in stands, in one of those new suits

every season we hear Grant Hill is fit and ready to play, but then he gets injured again :(

Its a damn shame, he was so good, he was LeBron before LeBron was ever heard of...

I hear he bought 6 new suits for the new season ;-)

Be gone hater!

Hopefully the problem with the sports hernia is fixed. Last season it wasnt a problem with the ankle at all .. that's fine now.

Doctors now say Hill tore muscles and the lining of the lower abdomen because he was compensating on an ankle that has had more work done on it than Kenny Rogers' face. Because the ankle joint was basically fused together -- after three surgeries failed to repair the crack along the inside of the ankle with screws and metal plates -- Hill's gait changed dramatically. And that ultimately led to the problem that limited him to just 21 games last season.

Bring on a healthy Hill, an awesome Magic and another All Star start!

As much as I love Hill... I can't see another All-Star start... although every season Hill has played more than 50 games hes been an All-Star, the Magic may (and probably should) bring him off the bench.

At least until he proves he can stay on the court without disrupting the team every week or so...

If hes off the bench, it wont matter as much if he goes down again, and with the way Hedo played at the tail end of last season, hes earned the spot.

god i just want him to win a playoff series for ONCE.......has never done it in the NBA.......almost the KG factor till 2004 he got past the first round...lets go! Grant...God? anyone?.....let him just win.....must be so frustrating for him since college the whole winning factor....its been like 13 years since he has won lol (except the 96 Olympics)

yeh I hope he stays healthy for the season magic should make playoffs if all is good hill is a mad **** Y cant some of the more aarogant smartarse or dumb players that end up wasting there talent get the continuing injuries n the great guys like hill stay healthy n win, he should go to miami id love to see him get a ring lol

No way [-X

Magic fans haven't suffered through 6 years of this to see Grant sign with their state rival.

TheGlyde........yeah OK..........im sure SHAQ didnt care too much when he left the Magic haha....now has 4 Rings!...1 with the HEAT "Apparently their State Rival"....

Well exactly, its bad enough suffering through 10 years of the doldrums after Shaq went, we dont need Hill to go and be his sidekick.

If Hill ever signs with anotehr team you can guarantee he puts in 3 healthy all star seasons... Magic fans are cursed.

hmm honestly i dont think Hill is an All-star anymore.....if he does make the all-star team it will be becuase of the fans that vote him in as a starter...he is popular.....you see "Grant Hill" on the ballot and think...awww im voting for Hill!....he isnt the same player anymore....not to me....but it would be nice to see him have some good seasons to end his career...i hope he does well but im not expecting him to be off the charts or anything

Its all about health... in 04-05 he was a 20/5/3 player shooting over 50% from the floor, and i think he could get back to that if healthy... which is the big thing isnt it.

Those kind of numbers and a decent team season could get him in. The thing is, he might be getting on in years, but he has a lot less mileage on his body because hes only played 100 or so games out of the last 500...

So if lighting strikes and he actually is healthy, i wouldnt ever count him out.
