so whos gonna win the 09 comp.

I think this weekend will give us a better idea of whos gonna be there GF day,the big question is will this weekend be a weekend of upset wins with the bottom 4 knocking over the top 4 ?.

i should be going to the titans and broncos game this week, should be awesome, broncos will come home in a thriller and then parra will beat st george, which means that broncos will get a home semi :)

COOPER VUNA IS THE MAN. As long as the Storm or Manly dont win I will be happy, im sick of them two teams. Hopefully the titans or knights or dragons.

Not much love for the Doggies I see, but thats how we like it!

Keep in mind we only need beat the Knights this weekend (the weakest team in the 8 for mine) and we will have Noddy back on deck for week 3

The weakest team in the eight has already beaten you once this season, and that was without Kurt Gidley!

That may be true but the Knights have still been very patchy this year. One win doesn't mean much once the finals start and i think the Knights will struggle with their inexperience in finals footy.

Guess we'll find out Saturday mate!

They have been patchy, but they have lost to the lesser teams. They've beaten the Bulldogs, Dragons, Titans, Storm, Brisbane and Manly in 2009 ... in fact, they've beaten everyone who finished ahead of them this year - that's far from a fluke. So watch out Bulldogs! I wouldn't be taking this one lightly.

De Gois and Taia are both expected to play, as well.

I admire your passion for Newcastle, yes they can beat anyone, but not away from home, they boast a home record of only winning 3 out of 12 for the year.

Being for the Central Coast I like Newcastle and hope they do the Dogs, but to be Premiers from 7th....not likely.

I don't think they'll be premiers, but I think they're a good chance of knocking off a Kimmorley-less Bulldogs side. After that it would be a home semi which I'd give them a good chance of winning. Can't see them going any further than that, though.

One of those away wins was against your Dragons mob, so anything is possible!
