I still think there should have been a "one in 2 or more boxes" insert.

That, and the lack of signatures, are IMO the 2 biggest letdowns.

On the other hand, we have a few fresh and interesting ideas, rather than the "same old" from previous years.

Guess we cant win 'em all.

A newsagent I know and get boxes from was not even aware they'll be out this month. Order forms/emails etc I assume have not been sent to them yet

Judging by the AFL cards I think the new insert designs in the NRL should be great. In the AFL the Laser sticker / Gold cards are great and easy to peel and stick, the holochrome finish on the best & fairest is fantastic ( this should be the same for the showtime cards in the NRL ), and the foil rising stars in the AFL also came up great ( should be the same for the try machine). I agree it is a little disappointing that no 1:72 insert exists ( The AFL at least had the Instant win redemptions ). Still can't wait to see the NRL next Friday. Keep an eye out for my box breaks and product reviews on You Tube. Will endeavour to get them up asap after the 23rd.
