Simply the Best

Mate they are a worry tonight.

The Edwards coinslot/bikerack moment is the only 2nd half highlight for this neutral. Been quite a few of those in the early rounds. Not just half slots either. Full monty slots.

I really hope Souths have the balls to move on from Mitchell. The shot on Faalogo had Joey Manu vibes. A blatant attempt to seriously injure a defenceless opponent. He's the game's biggest grub.

Bellamy: "there wasn't too much malice in it". So according to Bellamy's own words there was malice. I saw someone looking to torpedo the head.

Go Bears!!

I hope so. He's a liability should we ever seriously challenge for a flag in the next few years. And Gray's only spot is FB. I can't see him anywhere else.

And if Souths want to be real ruthless which they should be they move on from Walker as well. This Souths team is a fair way from contending which means Walker won't be around anyway when they do. Badly need some good forwards. Kolomatangi the only real good one.

Might just be me, but Latrell at the Roosters, what a beast. Ever since he moved to South Sydney though, he was given too much free reign to do whatever he felt like and he doesn't feel like doing, well, much of anything now. Trent Robinson might have kept him reigned in all along.

They have a lot of dead weight in that team. Johnson, Aarow, wighton, havili and even the coach. No point paying premium and not making the 8
Add Keppie to that list. He's got plenty of heart but he's not a starting calibre prop. No argument with those others: Arrow is absolutely awful and Havili much worse. Aitken doesn't do much for me either.

The two opening wins flattered the team. I suspect they will be in a battle to avoid the spoon by year's end.

Bennett is interesting. He might be a good fit if this was a young, inexperienced team but it's a motley crew of mostly journeymen.

You do realise the squad atm is missing Walker, Johnston, Munro and Murray. Latrell has been in and out. Campbell Graham coming back from a year out. Same with Tatola. Humphreys, also injured, the young half. Mamouzealous is a young hooker on the way in to grade replacing a 9 year star.

Get their full squad on the park fit, and they’re better already.

I do realise. Of those you mentioned only Murray is the big loss imo. Munro has hardly played and looks like he may battle to stay on the park. Walker is very much at the tail end. He's still good but the won't be around when they contend. Same with Johnstone. Humphreys looks the part but it's very early for him.

Latrell is likely to be suspended or injured at any moment and they'd do well to move him on. Campbell Graham hopefully gets back to what he was but he's getting monstered in tackles atm is making a loss after contact every time.

A team that has Keppie and Arrow starting and a guy like Havili in the 17 is not going to challenge for a flag.
