I sold some cards (including the Kobe patch really cheap) that ended on Thursday. It stated in the auction that payment was due within 2 days. When I got back home last night I found that I still haven't been paid for two auctions, and so I sent them a message saying that unless they paid immediately the cards would go to the next highest bidder. I haven't done anything as yet, but it's now 4 days since the auction ended, if I do 2nd-chance offer them should I leave negative feedback on the winners or is that a bit harsh? It's only 2 days over (so far), but still they clearly haven't followed the conditions of the auction...
Well the 2 days timeframe was because I have other auctions to pay for... so I am keeping them waiting by these people keeping me waiting....
Why can't sellers leave negative? If somebody doesn't pay surely they should be able to tell people about it..?

unless you are doing a "bin" option there is no point writing "must pay in 2 days" because ebay give buyers 7 days to pay anyway. With 'BIN' you can set it up during the listing process to require immediate payment via paypal at the end of the listing.
In my experience, the same people who ask for a fast payment usually take a week to send your item.
If you wanted to tell them you are taking the second chance offer go ahead, but i would expect a negative for your troubles
Whether I'm trading or selling or whatnot, I always try to give great customer service which means posting as soon as I possibly can. Heck, I went down country on Saturday and took with me the two items that had just been paid for, so that they would be posted sooner...
Luckily the guy who just bought my MJ auto paid instantly so I have now paid the outstanding auction, but it's just annoying when people don't follow your conditions/instructions.

AND... if ebay gives you 7 days to pay why do you get those annoying 'reminder to pay for your ebay item' emails after just a day or two...
I would contact the seller you are purchasing from and advise them of your situation,I am sure they will be understand. The usual time frame for payment is a week(which is when you can open an unpaid claim),and yes since the rules have changed as a seller you can no longer leave a neg. feedback(I know it sucks). So if they haven't paid by 7 days open the claim and go to the next highest bidder, but you may end up with the same problem and will make it even longer for you to pay for your items and you may find yourself with a strike from an unpaid claim, vicious circle isn't it.Good luck with it hope it all works out for you hairy.

How do you know your buyers aren't in the same situation?
Why bid if you can't follow the rules?
Maybe because people know your conditions don't fall into ebays idea of a quick payment and you get those reminders because the seller is sending them to you
It's actually ebay that are sending all of them
because rules are meant to be broken and a lot of US sellers put that they dont ship overseas however most of the time they do. plus its fun bidding on stuff knowing that they dont send overseas and getting into disputes....thats what ebays all about!
