banned = banned for a reason, whatever reason, we don't want/need them on this site, fair chance they did something wrong and avoid them!

Fact of the matter is, it isn't up to admin to advise whether or not to trade with someone (banned or otherwise), it is our job to keep this place running as well as it can, and to keep transactions that happen here as safe as possible. Sometimes that means banning people who cause trouble, either by generall DW-ness or by poor trading practises.
I believe that the majority of people who are permanently banned from OzCT, I wouldn't want to deal with.

Admin do not replace the phrase 'caveat emptor'...and basic common sense.

People get banned for lots of reasons....not all related to trading. All i was saying is that if Chad had of said this:
Instead of this in his first thread the now 4 pages of replies could have been avioded....
At the end of the day i was really only having a dig at chad....
He didn't state which member he was talking about Benny so I couldn't state the reason why. Common sense said no as I said, only after he gave the members id I was able to tell why he got banned. And yes the constant 'why did he get banned' threads are getting real old real fast.

At the end of the day i was really only having a dig at chad....
I realised that, and of course chad deserves every dig! and I was only having a stir back at you.
to me common sense would ring alarm bells, we don't ban people willy nilly and it is to protect what has been built up as Australia's best trading site. If someone is banned from here my alarm bells would start ringing, if they had done the right things they'd still be here.
Maybe admin should advise everyone if a member gets banned as usually the people who ask why have a deal in progress with them and dont want to be left in the dark about there deal. esp if they have paid or sent cards. If the forum was advised threads would not need to be started on the topic.
And prb the reply i will get is if you want to know pm admin... well i did that about rooaholic and never got a response. :v:
