This came in the mail today (BV$120)..

but there's a big problem...

The card is laminated!!! It's not the kind of lamination where the plastic sticks to the card... but still.. I don't wanna cut the plastic off as it might damage the autograph or the card itself. I emailed the seller asking whats up with this, and Im hoping for a refund or something...

What do you guys think?

Yeah that's what I told him. I said its a nice card, but the lamination makes it practically worthless. I'm gonna wait for his reply.. I usually wait for an offer (compensation) before I ask for anything.

Nope nothing on the auction that says its laminated.. maybe he just laminates all his cards and expects the buyer to cut the plastic. Or maybe bought it from a noob who laminated it and decided to sell it.

Umm, if it's laminated, the card is no longer RAW, and if you were to get an assessment on it (graded) the surface would be a fucked rating...

Nah the plastic isn't sticking to the card, i can move it around.. its like a sleeve but closed... but still! ITS WEIRD! Im still waiting for a reply. The least I would accept is half my money back.. then I can risk removing the plastic. It's a sick as card anyways.

i have the murphy from that set and they don`t come sleeved or with any sort of peel on them.
