Shame panini ..shame

Purchaced this box from a1 cards feb 2012 and still waiting on the card...
After basically telling me its all kobes fault as he hasnt been able to find a few hours in the last near year and a half to sign .
Sorry mr panini...its unfair and shamefull to expect your customers to wait this long for redemptions.
Either get your players to sign there cards before release of the product or offer a full refund.
Offering a so called replacement card (of your choice) is just plain wrong.
Ive seen so many people do it and received absolute garbage as a replacement.

Ive taken a replacement to end it and will not purchace more panini products
Well..lets just say ittll take 1 hell of a replacement to convice me to touch there products again

I redeemed a card back in September and sill haven't received it

I guess we can not really do too much.......

Sorry to hear that Steve. Sadly I have been waiting for a John Wall since Nov 2011. What makes it worst is that Wall was out injured and Kobe is currently injured and lots of other Kobe auto's have still been hitting the market

Were you able to choose another Kobe auto from a list or something of equal value?

I think it's a bigger problem because he's one of their flagship guys. I'm sure there should be contracts in place saying he must sign x number of cards in x period of time.

Quicksilver may be able to help you out. If you have twitter, get in contact with the Panini CSM and he has helped a lot of people out getting their redemptions.

Yep.....all the more annoying when other products come out already signed...and as terry stated..there injured.
Hell...they should have more time than normal to sign..

I've got a Kyrie limited auto that I redeemed back in August last year, it's been around 6 months since the draw for the rookies. And since then he's pretty much signed everything else except for this.
I was going to sell once received, don't collect him, but looks like I've missed out on a few $$ because of the delay. He even signed the latest prizm & select since then. Surely they could of had him do the oldest redemptions first.. ..seeing as though he is a spokesmen of theirs...?

Gonna hit David Sharpe up with an email to try & get a replacement of equal value, maybe a Kobe or Durant. But gonna make sure I know what I'm getting before I agree to it first.

Panini have been doing that forever, why did you think it would be different now? It sucks, but we all know that's how it is, yet people still support them and their business model....

As for the Kobe in question, it is slightly old, so it was probably already used as a redemption replacement which is why they couldn't redeem it.

Yeah Upper Deck def 10x worse lucky to even see a card in return like someone has said previously david their customer service manager is usually pretty good and will try to help and keep you happy.

With autos their is egos, agents and teams in the way. Agreed Kobe should have signed this card ages ago though. Any longer than 6 months should be automatic replacement of same player or better.

I haven't redeemed many cards but have had a lot of success with just sending an email every couple of weeks after say after 3-4 months of waiting..
that's if your happy with a replacement. I was vey lucky. pulled a dual sticker auto of hakeem and ming. got a replacement of robinson and ming on card quad jersey from 07-08 ultimate probly worth double the original.
don't lose hope that you might get something much nicer.

Just heard back from David, here is the email from him. Potentially 2 Kobe autos for a Kyrie.

Hey Karlan,

At this time, I don’t have any Durants. I do have a 2012-13 Absolute Hoopla Kobe Auto. It’s $200 and your Kyrie is $400, so we would need to make up the difference somehow if you wanted too. I could add a Kobe Prestige Distinctive Ink Auto, an Anthony Davis Auto, or product to make up the other $200. Let me know.

but no one at panini will even get back to me, so as of yesterday i refuse to buy anything panini, im so over it and i no that me not buying anything will make no difference to there profits but ive had a guteful , so im going back to the old pc. panini will never change and its a shame, to me its killing this hobby i once loved so so much.
