Its been proven already only open boxes for fun if your looking to turn a profit u will loose out 9/10
U never get more than $1 ea for AA $5 for a Medal and very few dps sell over $50

Totally get that mate, but couldnt Select see this and maybe put a hawks, saints & collingwood insert of another type in so those big 3 vic team collectors have something to aim for? just an idea. thought it might have been a good idea as hawks, st kilda and collingwood have huge followings and therefore lots of team collectors. if they had done an insert set that could have included players from these teams then everyone would be covered. but i guess select have never really done this before so why start now.
dont mind the look of this series but its still missing things like predictors which make it interesting for everyone. have a feeling that if you leave out too many of the popular vic teams and include too many of the lesser popular teams then it might not be as popular as we all think, but then again second series always sells out regardless so only time will tell i guess!

I think you've already defeated your own argument. Why should Select pander to the needs of certain teams? They never have before, and they certainly wont start now I wouldnt think. As youve hypothesised, the set will amost certainly 'sell out' (with the exception of the sole distributor, who will have product for years to come). Its therefore not in their commercial interests to create a different card and thus incur the costs of printing them just to cover all teams.
We didnt get a Best of the Best Diamond Gem card, but I just accept it and wait for the next series, and had to wait till the second series last year for a Double Trouble.

As has also been said, the Hawks and Tigers had it pretty good with the 05 Platinums, Freo Geelong, Sydney and the Kangas had none.
