new rebellion ..... just to add another angle:
US is the current world power, if they werent who would be :
China - bad human rights record
russia - mafia
uk - got no idea, made a real mess when they were in power
arabs - no comment

so i guess the US are bad but i guess things could be worse.
 
make no mistake, China will be the new world superpower in the space of the next 25 years. The annual growth of their economy and GDP, military strength and weapons capabilities, and general population is staggering. i have little doubt we will see another cold war develop between China and the US in the next 50 years, thank god there will not be a normal war though thanks to the good ol nuke.
