Totally agree, Jpear! I remember when he was still at club level he used to hang out with a couple of the local boys, come to parties. He was always a bit of a smartass, but fun to listen too...
As for the niggle in his game, I actually like it in today's over-sanitized game, and he's one of the reasons I haven't been opposed to watching Broncos games the last few years. Didn't think much of the late 80's/early 90's team, but they're starting to get some exciting young players in there. And say what you will about Hodges and Hunt, they both leave it all on the field and put on a good show! If the scoreline was all that mattered, you could just read a box score. But for entertainment, he's hard to go past. Having said that, Mundine's one of my favourite boxers, along with Prince Naseem, so it's obvious I cant say no to a show... 
Gotta love a show man!!! Love watching Hodges play, Mundine box and didnt mind Prince Nassem's entrances.

agreed, the end line is hodges is a smartarse but you gotta love it, its funny to see someone having a good time, his sledging always seems to put players off their games which is good for us, i sense that hes gonna be a big smartarse this weekend against the storm haha, and i cant WAIT!
I read in the Courier Mail today something to the effect that Tim Smith is a possibility for the Broncos. He'd apparently be dual-registered between the Broncs and either Roosters or Tigers (he'd start off in QLD Cup from what I believe...), and then either NRL club could claim him if they thought he was up to it again. I also thought there was a possibility of Thurston going back to the Dogs, but not sure if thats still a possibility...

i heard that kevin kingston has signed with the pantehrs. lol well he did liek a month ago but they werent going to announce it till after the grand final. if youw ant to know anything to know with penrith trades and buying people LMK ILL TELL YOU STRAIGHT AWAY. lol an embarrasing moment for matty elliot at the pantehrs award night. he said on the microphone Best wishes for the future to the people who wont be here nxt year and he mention a couple names. FRANK PULETUA being one of them and he didnt even know that they didnt want him and that they werent offering him another contract. they ended up signing him again in the end but it was soo funy at the time.
