Redemptions Not Redeeming Themselves!!!

I did a search last night on Beckett to see how many redemptions there are for non-prime silhouette autos and found 17 (1 in 2011-12 an Al Thornton I have never seen and am unsure actually exists and 16 in 2012-13).

My question is for other set collectors trying to reach 100% completion are you able to obtain info from Panini to see if you are waiting around for nothing? Are some redemptions never going to be filled? Like all set collectors unless the replacement is part of the set I am chasing I am not interested.

Thought I would just pose this question and ask if anyone sees the following redeemed non-prime silhouette autos around to give me a PM as I have never seen these not even the redemptions, cheers!

Yep doing the golden futures set, and there's like 5 of 35 still yet to be redeemed from 2011-12 gold standard. I need 7 total so those 5 are so frustrating.

A lot of the time it is not just about whether a card is 'made' or not, it is about other things like being lost in transit or damaged. Not being signed or returned by the player etc.

you can send an email to Panini customer service and ask them to let you know if they expect the cards to be released!

i think a fairly interesting part of OP's first comment is that in 11-12 a total of 1 redemption,
compared to 12-13 with a total of 16 redemptions.

Either Panini is taking on too many players, or 16 athletes grew very lazy in the off season?

Last time I did that I got the generic "we are waiting on players to sign, as they do it in their own free time" response.

nice to see the Rivers exists at least in redemption form. I tracked down McHale redemption for $31 which is a steal as it is /25 just as long as he signs! I have seen the Harrellson in plate form so that one must exist and a Terrence Ross red has just surfaced which I was looking for like forever! Looks like an email to Panini and a stake out on Ebay is the way to go!
