Only ever been to a handful of concerts, and the last was about 15 years ago. Just got too expensive with flights and accommodation. Been tempted lately though, with Eivør touring this month and Wardruna touring in January. Spewing I completely missed Unleash the Archers earlier this year. Definitely would've gone had I known.

Out of Nightwish (Once tour), Dragonforce (Inhuman Rampage tour), Dark Tranquillity ('06 tour) and Amon Amarth (Wrath of the Norsemen tour) the best was Amon Amarth. All shows were great fun, all of them at The Arena in Brisbane, except for DT which was at The Basement. Amon Amarth had the best sound, everything was just so crisp and clear.

Saw Jebediah, Silverchair and Grispoon on their joint Rollercoast tour, I think that was 1999. Barely remember much of it though. And there's a bunch of locally held festivals that brought in a few bigger domestic acts, but nothing I would've gone out of my way to see on their own. Though it was funny when The Vasco Era came on as an opener at one, and everyone who rushed up to the stage rushed away when he started singing. A real ear bleeder.

I saw Stand Atlantic in Forth Tassie in September last year. They are my favourite Aussie act at the moment, and they were bloody awesome. They go hard!

Won't rank my top ten (too hard to recall) but saw Pat Benatar with Bangles as a support act randomly in Brisbane.

Very small crowd but amazing, that lady has some serious range and easily the most intimate concert I have seen.

The Bangles support act is random! My missus would be jealous - loves them

Most weird/out there experience I’ve ever had was at a Tool concert - was only drinking alcohol - no drugs involved - but I went somewhere - I out it down to the voice, the rhythms, the vivid light display - but man, thinking about it now it’s the combination of all things they do but the drums would have to be a major part of it. Insanely good.

Seen Evanescence about 17 years ago so I would not guess at what her voice is like live these days but fantastic back then
