Well I just watched the trailer and it’s a no for in cinema - I didn’t know Strays was R rated but I’ll watch when it comes to streaming haha


Maybe Gran Turismo - my son is 10 so might be into that

agree about the excess words - was trying to be positive but yeah he had to fill the 3.5hrs with something

Strays 6/10. its just passable tbh.

was going to be a 4/10 but the back half of the movie was alright.

more swearing/crude comments than a mad monday that goes for 3 weeks

Shawshank Redemption - 9.5/10

Everything about this movie is just spot on.
Cracking cast and a great storyline that keeps you entranced the whole way.

Been kicking throught some old school DIRTY HARRY series lately.
MAGNUM FORCE / THE ENFORCER / THE DEAD POOL...
I just love the 80's era gritty, action, violent, non-pc one liners..these flicks bring back great memories.
Clint Eastwood was great in these and as a re-view I loved going through the series for the first time in years

REPTILE (Netflix) great cast (Del toro was great) film feels disjointed and was expecting alot more, film is just a let down .. 6/10*

PEARL ..part horror/ part comedy with some gore. lead girl was very good.
forgettable...5/10*

Carries on in the same vein as the first two movies.
Denzel is great in the roll and the action scenes are really well done.

Foot to arse, chin. ribs etc Two of my all time fav actors/martial artists in this. Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White.
The fight scenes are absolutely magnificent.

BIG Scott Adkins fan, just wish I could find more of his movies on Blu ray instead of DVD, they don't seem to reach our shores often.

But with Best Buy in the US no longer stocking physical movies from next year, I guess I should be thankful I can find anything at all. Before too long streaming is all we'll have.

I hear ya, I spend so much time looking for good martial movie stockists. Region locked US is about all I can find 95% of the time.
Still considering getting a second Blu ray player and locking it to that region.
