Blade Runner 2049 (9.5/10)

I personally love this movie and everything about it...It may be long, but the way the story is put together allows for all the emotions to be felt (Props to Denis Villeneuve for the directing), the music selection and timing (Hans Zimmer amazing as usual), cinematography and visuals (1st Oscar for Roger Deakins?), and the acting choices were brilliant from Jared Leto to Ryan Gosling....Both of whom nailed it, especially Ryan Gosling..... Thought he did a seriously great job, felt like he was in control all the time during every scene in the movie whether it needed emotion or even the action scenes

Definetly a must watch imo! People may very well have differing view on the movie due to its length, but this was for me the best movie this year and maybe one of my favourites of all time......A near perfect film noire, which i can see being nominated for many awards!

If that doesn't convince you enough...iMDB has it at 8.8/10 and Rotten Tomatoes has it at 90% right now

Atomic Blonde - 7/10

Enjoyable enough movie, found the music a little overpowering, nice array of 80's tunes but just too much.
Very film noir in its feel.
What did make this movie for me, was a good cast and great action.
Fight scenes were done very well.
Well worth a watch if you are stuck for a pick.

30 Days of Night - 7/10

For those, like me, that enjoy a good vampire movie, then this is worth a watch.
Was released back in 2007, so nothing new, I stumbled across a trailer on facebook.
Different take on the vampire genre, which if nothing else is a bit played out.
Got a couple of hours free and like a bit of blood then give it a watch.

Im soooo looking forward to seeing 'Jigsaw '. Geez i hope its a brilliant film. The series deserves/needs it as it started off so strong and died badly last couple.
