PS3 NBA2K13 Online Association

OMG. How's this for a twist of fortunes.

My last game of the season was against JayRoy. Played 2 nights ago and it was an up-and-down cracker. At 62-62 in the 3rd qtr the game cut out. It didn't auto sim the game so it was still available to play.

Just now i'm logged in and the game finally simmed as we didn't get around to playing it. I lost the sim. Because of the sim lost i dropped down to the same record as the Lakers for the lead in the division but they must be in front from some kind of tiebreaker. So i dropped from 3rd seed, home playoffs to 6th seed away to the Mavs (Dwight, D-Will, Crawford). At the same time as the sim it popped up down the bottom of the screen TORN MCL Ed Davis. This is 10 mins after we have been talking about injuries. Now i have no Ed (beast) Davis in the post for my first two games of the playoffs. What a ripoff lol.

I don't know how, but in my new league with my mate that I mentioned above, I have pulled off a miracle! I was drafting pick 28th...so drafted entirely for stars/trade bait. I have now managed to turn Favors, Rubio, JaVale McGee, JR Smith, Bayless, Ishmael Smith, Thabeet and Meeks into Stephen Curry, Josh Smith, Kevin Love, Monta Ellis, Marcin Gortat and a 1st round pick (from the bottom placed Lakers)! Through 3 separate trades!

Agreed. But I knew their stars so drafted them Though I will add, that the key part of this was me actually trading WITH my mate! I don't know how, but I managed to convince him that he should take Favors, Ishmael Smith and a 1st round pick for Love and Monta... And yes, he knows his basketball. He just likes Favors and wanted a pick for the future so agreed to the deal! My bench leaves a little to be desired...but it will work. Bench is: Darrell Arthur, Marco Belinelli, Jared Dudley, Jeter, Carney, Jason Smith and Powell. But hopefully sending Jeter and a pick for Maynor and pick. And possibly getting a reserve C.

Now I have to play Nen in what looks like a best of 7 series :/ (anyone confirm)
To stand a chance it'll have to be pure curry cheese haha
 
First round is best of 3 i believe....which makes having Ed Davis OUT the first 2 games even worse. Now i have Reggie Evans battling Dwight Howard in the paint
 
Just letting everyone know.....I quit the league....not becasue it's bad, just with all these new games I got (BF3, GTA, MW3 soon), I just don't have enough time to play 2k, every day. Sorry

I checked the MB league I was sure I was sure I seen best of 7 results

Michael, does Beasley's complete lack of defensive ability get noticed at all? You heard the team I have earlier in my other league and I'm left with either playing Josh Smith at the SF or bringing Love off the bench and playing Dudley at the SF. It seems like a no brainer to start Smith at the SF but I generally don't like playing guys out of position. I could send Love, a 2nd round pick and a scrub for Beasley and a 1st round pick...and to be honest I'd only consider sending Love for either Beasley or Gay. Beasley is the less conventional SF IMO but his offense is nuts, but conversely his D seems to be ridiculously poor (I love my guys who can play D but hit a shot). Thoughts? Trade for Beasley (Love/scrub/2nd rounder for Beasley/1st rounder), trade for Gay (little harder cause salaries are so far out...would have to be say Love/Dudley for Gay/pick) or stick with Love and bring him off the bench or start him depending how I feel.
 
If you are resorting to bringing Love off the bench i'd move him. Definetly for Rudy Gay if you can swing it. Beasley's offense is off the the charts, all his offensive ratings are high and his fadeaway is killer. I do notice him missing on D though, he barely grabs a Def board and doesn't get steals or blocks.

Plus, Beasley will be an arse when it gets to negotiation time
 

I can get Gay, but it's Gay for Love and Dudley (which doesn;t really bother me) but I'll be pretty much right on the salary cap! Currently sitting 6mil under...not sure I want to be tied up like that...
 

Beasley is a beast in 2k12 he was starting to get some over hype hate on 2k forums
As far as re-signing I couldn't get any of my guys to sign either (except Pryzbilla) I think / hope theyll sign in off season

I'd say Granger is just slightly better then B Easy IMO

Love is my fav player in the game. Dude is a beast.

That sucks..I'd say you'll be able to pick up a big or two from draft or FA..
I know I'll be letting Powe and probably Koufos walk

You didn't sign Koufos? He only wanted an average of a mil a year for 6 years! I signed him in another league. That's cheap

So should I get Gay for Love and tie up my salary cap?
