That's Chris Paul's first game with the spurs. He was trying to do that type of thing with Billups but Billups is a bit slower, so he offered a trade and somehow the cruddy looking trade he offered got accepted. I was actually surprised to see it having been put through this morning, but thems the breaks. 25 assists...ouch...doesn't shock me much though that vikkit is using some kind of exploitive method of winning ala S2 with Derrick Rose.

In fact, the way you played the Nets and Spurs back to back this morning...the 2 guys who made the Billups/Paul trade, is a little suss. Cause if you look at that trade, it's clearly in favour of the Chris Paul side of the deal. And then they find themselves online at the same time? I'm thinking mates rates trade there...
Sorry I put that deal through and looking at the ratings thought it was more or less even.
It was definitely more even than the Kobe Bryant trade that another mod put through a few days back for Bloods and The Bridge.
Haha yeah i was seeing what Miller could do other than drop trey's i wish the game kept going so i could try the other guys out a bit more.Yeah gonna have to game plan for that against you mate! He was just starting against me and I could already see it was either going to be Miller shooting or nothing at allOh, and do we really have no match-up on the schedule???
I saw it and was thinking bodgy, so left it for Michael to review.
Kobe trade: 96, 81, 66, 61 for 86, 81, 79, 74 gives me a difference of 16 rating points in favour of the Rondo side, however both guys had been in long discussions about getting a deal done and in the end I'd call it fairly even, though clearly not totally even. It's also a matter of how you use your players. To me, Rondo would be like playing with a 60 or lower rated PG simply cause I don't have dribble moves, I'm not a great stealer of the ball and I hardly drive and often shoot. Had I been in that trade, I'd be much much sooner taking the Kobe side of the deal yet we've already ascertained that's the "losing" side of the deal by ratings. The rest of the players in the deal also create upgrades and differences to each team to aid them both.
As for the other trade: 95, 66, 66, 63 for 84, 71, 67, 65... Basically it's 96 and 63 for 84 and 71, but even then, all of the "extras" added to the trade after Paul and Billups are pretty much nothing guys whom will get little to no court time and look to me like the only reason they're in the deal is to perhaps cover the difference between 95 and 84. In the end, who would trade Paul for Billups when they're not actually upgrading ANY other position on their team in the process??? At least when you got Paul in S1 you seriously upgraded Sam at the PF possie also! Not to mention that the 2 managers are from NZ. Possibly just a little consultation might have been better. But ah well.
PS: I could be completely wrong and everything with this trade is above board, but on the face of it, it looks completely mates rates.

Oh, and I messaged Michael about that other trade the other day and told him I thought it was probably alright, but check the users. He replied saying he'd checked them out and that he knew they were legit so he put it through. This is the process in which trades have gone through in S2 in almost all cases, particularly with big name players.
Zel has Roy who i managed to get 4 fouls on in the 1st quarter and then foul out later in the game
hey jimbo I sent you some tips re Flynn via PM
Digeze, I'll be on tonight If you wanna get a Playoff game done!
3rd game against Giddles (Jazz) again another double digit loss - anybody else sick of unrealistic bball? I thought 2K was supposed to be a sim.
I guess I just long for defensive slogs and true to life scenarios
However I did find Q's range so hopefully he'll be able to bolster my long ball stocks
Why what happened with playin the jazz???
