Blazers arn't a division team of ours John! Would you be adverse to playing me in the final game that needs to be filled? Or shall it just be random?
Yeah - I had both Batum & Delfino play at the 2 regularly in S2, so I wouldn't say i'm weak at the 2 either. I got 4 guys that I could put at either 2 or 3, and 3 guys I could put at 3 or 4I think I have plenty of depth.

Oh and ALSO I got two games under my belt.
Dropped one to Giddles and the Jazz, and picked up a one point win off Ranga and whichever team he was (I forget).
Joe Johnson came up major clutch. Hit a 3 to send the game to overtime, then hit the game winning jumper, literally on the buzzer.
My first game against Giddles, well let's just say it was interesting.
For those who have found my style irritating at times, you have yet to play Giddles. He basically scored his first 40 points all in the paint. Then once he had a slight lead he started shaking loose with Curry and hitting jumpers. Lots of run into your defender and kick it out to the other offensive shooter who has slipped open.
That said he plays a very fast paced game (faster than me) and I had my own issues stopping him. I drew it within 5 with about 2 minutes to go but he was just too quick. I probably should have played a bit more on-ball defense though.
Had it not been my first game with this team who I've never used I would've had a greater chance of winning.
Will be very interested to see how you go against him Ben.

Good game, he only scored 26 in the paint with 18 fastbreak points, everyone gets me on the fastbreak dont have a clue how to get back.

I think the thing that got me with your style, and you doing it that time mate was just that I know how good you can be with the other style too! However, I have played a few of my mates whom literally took 1 shot outside the key the ENTIRE game! Quite the ridiculous.
Should have seen me a John yesterday, awesome shooting display! He was nailing all sorts of sweet shots from all round the place, mostly mid range. Was actually a little frustrating cause it seems off the pick and roll, the jumper is almost a certainty whether contested or not. I drifted way off behind...but then in the last FINALLY found Mo's shot after many games of searching and hit ~8/10 from dowtown in the last to only lose by 6. Really wasn't all that fitting to be honest cause John soundly beat me and lead by mid to high teens the whole way. Mo shot 10/18 from downtown and KMart 6/12.
Anywho, I strayed from the point I guess I'll find out about Griddles, but typically I handle inside only players fairly well...as long as I'm in practice and can hit my jumpers!

Minnesota owner has been removed and we have two options as a replacement.
1) Sam who is Swish_130's friend. I know that he is definetly a real person so is an option.
2) In the chatroom for the draft last night mattbowen joined us and continued to request a team. He has also been sending me pm's saying he really wants in and will be very active. The question mark on this one is that obviously he started season 1 active and then basically abandoned the league when he was banned from these forums. Season 2 he got a team and was extremely difficult to get a hold of as he was always COD''ing. Now he is saying he will be active? Not sure, what do you guys think?

Nothing against kid's, but MattBowen in particular has shown that he doesn't have a long attention span. My bet is he'll play about 5 games, and if he loses them he won't see another game for at least a month.

Yeah my post was more talking about Giddles, I'm not fussed about myself. I think we're past that, I was just using me as a reference point.
Looks like Verse is suffering the Giddles-fate right now anyway. He's down 46-30 in the second quarter and I'm just looking at the stats right now...
Ahh not as much paint activity this game from Giddles because Steph Curry is off to a firing start. Will be interesting to get Nicko's opinion on the game anywho.

The second shot you didn't get a hand up and I just rised up and shot it over the top.

I usually try to use the playbook- but as I have said before, you have to go with what works, and if you can't defend it, tough.
Yeah, it can be frustrating for people - especially for me when Benny's dropping trey like no one's business #-o

Well I did a ps3 injury tonight at basketball hahaha went up and threw down a dunk and after I slightly hung on the ring, as I let go my hand slid off and there must have been an uneven bit of metal or something bizzare. Anyway as my hands slid down over it its slit open my finger nicely producing a nice little bit of flapping skin left haha Just tried holding the control and its pretty uncomfortable so i reckon im out for the next day or two till te cut aint so fresh...so

Can't say i was impressed with the steal every time you have the ball or the run arounds till he frees up with Curry. It was non stop the whole game but i think im learning to be more resiliant (SP?) towards other players games.
On another note Miller absolutely lit it up for me against Zelmiester, 15-20 and 11-11 from down town for 41points!!! It was insane the guy couldn't miss, if he's open its going in thats all there is too it

Miller is a freaky shooter. I've seen his ratings, 90 from three point range it's ridiculous!
And I thought Chase Budinger was shooting well when he hit 6/12 from deep and had 27 against the Thunder.

Im glad i took the chance and picked him up, i honestly never expected the sharp shooting especially after my first 2 games with him but i started to feel his shot by game 3 with 50% + from 3 then 57% game 4 and 100% game 5.
Im still undecided on my team though, i can score but the D is a little lacking for some reason. Delambert and Richardson are solid but there's just something missing i can't put a finger on. Whats surprising is Miller is my top scorer not Melo

You got me wrong mate, I was saying that it seemed to go in even with a hand in your face! Though I do admit the way the game is created makes the pick and roll bloody hard to stop because you can't put a body on a guy like you can in real life...which is why people do call excessive pick and rolls cheesing, whether they do it in the pros or not. Just saying, not complaining You beat me all round the other day and 6 points didn't really do you justice!

Not to mention, the type of players that are lower rated like Butler in the deal are shooters, and we all stretch down lower to take the good shooters (like how Daniel Gibson is on a team, Jason Kapono, Kyle Korver), so perhaps he's good with Butler? In the end, I'd say pretty fair trade. Perhaps the receiver of Kobe never uses his bench like you? We'll see what Michael says and knows about the 2 users.

Just on the Kobe deal, bloods hates using Kobe. I played him last night and he was telling me after the game he was trying to offload him. I tried to talk him out of it but he was pretty sure he didn't like using him

I say give Mattbowen a go he's been pretty active in Zelmeisters league and has been getting better with the responding of PM's. Maybe just give him the straight up rules, if he wants in he has to be active and respond to people if not he's gone. He's a good kid and plays a good game so i'd much rather him in the league than another swish
