Only 2 things that seem clear to me is that it was a massive after thought and that no one that works for ESP is a collectorI hate to be one of those 'told you so' types but the individual value of the predictors, when combined, was never going to maintain consistency once redeemed. True, a /20 set is low in number but it is also only a parallel of which there are 217.
If value was based on how much a set cost to put together then we would all be sitting on gold mines!
It is obvious ESP muffed the predictor concept big time, hopefully they get it right in 18 Traders!!
These predictor sets are just getting even weirder now. Next you'll find out there made from special cardboard that is highly biodegradable in oxygen and they'll just disappear in 6 months
I found it strange you were ‘promised’ set #2 when I had lodged mine ‘weeks’ before you.
Anyway, #5 is still a good number and nothing to be disappointed with.
Rob, I will go with 200 max, maybe a bit more with each predictor low numbered. If anyone is selling one of the Gold sets i have $650 ready to go

Does anyone want to go lower, I hear on some face book sights they try to go lower than average.
Good luck if anyone will part with them for $200 , especially before we have given ESP the right of reply . Hold on to em lads till we hear back I say !!Add up how much in total the 20 set owners have spent on traders products this year . 20 good customers I doubt they would want to lose . I get probably 5 went to dealers , so atleast 15 big customers ?? Not a smart business move by any means ??? Yep thats probably the way TLA will look at it too. The trouble is though there was a strong implication on their part that the /20 would be a special product both by the quality of the redemption card and the motivation provided by TLA to chase all 16 quickly to be able to be one of the first 20 to redeem the set to earn a limited /20 set. So what you are saying is probably technically correct, TLA still had an obligation to meet expectation of a certain level of product & by extension, exclusivity, which has not been met.I'm not sure why TLA will feel the need to do anything here?
If you had a winning predictor, you got your numbered set if you redeemed the card which means they fulfilled their obligations.
The Gold Set was an additional last minute bonus idea to help push more sales (getting people to buy more product to chase this limited set). Those first 20 that did got their sets so they have done what was promised.
While people may have spent lots of money chasing all 16 predictors and some people may feel underwhelmed at the minimal difference between the Gold Set and the Normal Predictor set but TLA have done everything that they have promised and I don't see why they would need to compensate anyone for anything further?
That's my (probably unpopular) take on it anyway.
Cheers
Matt
@Matt26 You are right and I do agree with you. TLA has fulfilled their obligations. There probably is nothing more they should do or need to do from now however the product in which they released /20 is substandard in my opinion.
You say they did this to push more sales as a little bonus to us collectors I am assuming. That they achieved as a lot of us bought packs and traded etc to get these and the standard is just not there for a limited product.
They got what they wanted and we get a substandard product not near in value as to what was spent. The 16 predictors we sent in are 100 times better than what was received.
I guess if you asked anyone here on this forum or any others what they were expecting and a lot would say not what we got.
Customer service is also a big thing in my books and that was not met. Emails never responded to. I asked for tracking etc and nothing. I feel as tho I spend a lot of money on their products and to get what I received (packed poorly, hologram sticker on a team bag and a case) is pretty poor.
Just my 2 cents mate and felt a need the vent. I love my footy cards but Im not sure on my collecting future to be honest.
Cheers
Shaun
