I'd prefer a weekend. And I live in Joondalup, so I'm not travelling any further than Gosnells!!!! hahaha Prefer a beach-side location.

I was also thinking if we are doing a trade day at the same time, could just do it in the A1 car-park if someone can bring a portable hoop..

**edit, better yet an adjustable height hoop so we can make it 7 feet high so Terry can get a dunk in!!! :kick: :lol:

6 foot will suit me better :lol:

This would be a great idea if we can get it off the ground but half the problem is finding courts that we can get to use without having to fork out a high rental charge.

If people are willing to make a day of it and yes it would mean driving down as far as Armadale, the court is available on a Sunday morning for about 3 hours in the morning (9am) and it is just regular entry per person like the good old days :)

I will even organize some nice snacks for after the game to make up for the day :thumbsup:
 
As much as I would prefer to play indoors, theres no need to pay when there's sufficient good quality outdoor venues available. (with no nets of course and weather permitting)
 
Fair enough! Maybe Landsdale isn't so bad when compared to Dawesville! :lol:

I actually think near Terry's is the only way to go. That way we can go there after and trade/talk trash/sleep over (for those who flew in from Mandurah)

As long as there is plenty of notice as I would need to make a day of it! lol

I will even put a NICE auto card up for the winner of the inaugural Ozcards HORSE comp!

I try playing at the outdoor courts near me and the wind blocks my shots on every second attempt! lol

I don't even need wind or opponents to miss my shots :lol:

Another thing that we should all consider is where do we leave our cards while shooting hoops ?
Just an option but I am happy to meet people at the shop at 8:30 so everyone can leave cards there for safe keeping while we play ball and I can lead everyone to the courts in Armadale :)

Yeh, armadale isnt much further. I don't mind at all.

I suggest that we do the trading first before we are all stinky and sweaty and worn the flap out! haha

Next thing to do is set a tentative weekend..

When do you get back from mehico Simon?
