PC Battle Royale - Round 2 - Group A

So after 1 week of displaying some of the nicest groups of PC cards I have ever seen, we are down to 4 players – Slobbythegreat, Onvison, ljandkg & Quicksilver.
I am thinking this is going to be a nice close round!!!

Using Random.org again, the 2 groups have been made and in this – Group 2A – will be Quicksilver/Ray Allen & Onvison/OJ Mayo.

Again, the polls will be open for 7 days for voting and the winner will progress to the final to play against the winner of Group 2B.

As far as the prizes go, I was trying my hardest to put together a pack which contains something from the winners/runner up’s PC however all 4 of you collect players which I don’t really have anything of, so I have just started to put together a pack of some nice lower end cards. Keep in mind this was never meant to be a Bucket of Gold at the end if the rainbow, but a little bonus for getting to the end.

There will be 3 elements to the major prize –

1/- A package of some auto’s, patches and GU cards from my personal stash. Trying to make them from some decent players. This package WILL now include a PC card for the winner as I have received, through blatant generosity from SILADEE, a PC card for each of the final 4 just in case!!!!

2/- A custom designed avatar or signature courtesy of our good friend LILREDDEVIL!!! This can be incorporated into an existing design you have or a new one you have wanted. Ideally we want it to include a trophy image of some sort and text to indicate ‘PC Battle Royale Champion’ or similar.

3/- and I think this is cool even though it has nothing to do with basketball. I recently exhibited some of my products at a security exhibition in Tasmania and was lucky enough to spend a fair bit of time with 3 people who are involved with the V8 supercar team BJR Racing – Kim Jones (Owner), John Bowe(Driver) and Jason Bright(Driver). During the event, I managed to get my hands on a collectible miniature model of Jason Bright’s ‘Trading Post’ V8 car. So I have decided to donate this to the winner as a bit of a oddball prize.

some pretty fine cards in here! love the ray ray logoman, looks sexy, love that design and the mayo exquisite prime patch is a stunner...tough to pick which one to vote for!!

This was hardest one yet for me so far! Got down to the Green PMG and Treasury Gold and that was the deciding factor for me, sorry Ray Ray

The first card grabbed my attention... and then the logomen did too... The Mayos are awesome cards, but the Rays look nicer to me

Dirty, Dirty words!!!! Lockwood is merely an attendee at the function that would not be what it is without the likes of me and my company!!!

I mean, yes. It was the Master Locksmiths Association Conference in Hobart. Jason Bright, John Bowe and Kim Jones all came down to help us raise money for Jason Richards' family since he got diagnosed with cancer last year. All really nice guys too! Except John Bowe, he spent about an hour hitting on my missus.

Lol well Brighty called it a lockwood event on his twitter so thats where i got that from . Brighty is good to follow on twitter, when i was in hospital he tweeted updates to me on the f1 race that was on at the time. And yeah Bowe looks seedy so i can imagine.

Yeah, Lockwood was one of the company's that put on the charity function we did with them. But the guys stayed on all weekend and drank and talked excrement. It was quite good of them. I picked up a few Lockwood caps that Brighty signedd too if you want one? LMK

Oj Mayo 3rd pick 1st round in 2008

According to Beckett.com
Scottie Pippen has 2,317 cards available
Kevin Garnett has 5,701 cards available
Ray Allen has 3,661 cards available
Oj Mayo has 1,018 cards available

All contestants have both a 15 year lead and at least twice as many cards to choose from than Mayo. In Garnetts case, 5 times as many cards.

I may be fighting an uphill battle here but give me 15 years and we can try again!

Yeah but you've also got the fact that while Garnett has a 15 year start and 5x as many cards, proportionately you've got MANY more collectors, like thousands and thousands of KG collectors to compete with whereas Mayo you can just go snap up whatever you want cause they'll always be available

All you #5 draftees are the same, thinking mayo is so easy to come by. You old dudes are all priced on an outstanding careers but Mayo is priced on potential. And lord knows there are a ton of potential investors!
Out of those 5000 cards how many are 1/1s? KG probably has more 1/1s than mayo has cards!
