G'day All,

I have finally decided to take the plunge & start a web site dedicated to my Ewing collection, as you can see it's in the rookie phase at the moment but i hope to have the lot on here by the end of the year.

My main question to people would be......

Have i gone overboard with all the profile information on each page because there's going to be hundreds of card photos?

looks great! I like the Info on each page, i have kinda the same thing with my collection...Kinda shows you really enjoy the game and the player you are collecting rather than just being in it for the money!

I've had a look through your site before and i really like how you have setup your wantlist on there with pictures of the cards you have, it's a nice easy site to navigate.:thumbsup:
 
Awesome site Leigh..

nice you take time to write about his life... it's interesting, would be really cool if u scan them?? coz some cards will look really good in scans.. instead of pics.. like prism..and his stars rookies at the moment.

sorry if i am too demanding LOL.. just my suggestion :)

I'm stealing alot of the profiles from different websites and learning alot of new cool things about Pat.

I have thought about scanning but photos are alot quicker and i have over 600 cards to get through. I will however do alot of the fancy looking cards like the prism card through a scanner.

Yep ... really cool indeed ... can't even offer much constructive critisism other than what Linn said about scans looking better than photos. Well done!
 
After getting hit by a negligent driver (one of the nice terms i'll use) on my motorbike yesterday and flying for six i've got a bit of time up my sleeve to update and change my Patrick Ewing collection website. I hope to have it finished by the end of the week.

I originally had every single card scanned but i realised that it was a bit too cluttered. I now have my favourites and most of the rare cards scanned up on the site and i'm currently in the process of getting all my memorabilia together to post up.

I would like to hear any thoughts or comments you guys might have, Thanks for looking.:thumbsup:

I've added a forum to my website to allow people to leave messages. If you have any cards for my PC or you want to comment on the site this forum is the place. I would also like to see people sign the visitors book on the forum so I can see how far this site stretches. If this is classified as spamming then sorry but it's not a dedicated card forum it's mainly for my research so to speak.
