does anyone use this site??? if so what is your experience's so far.
as most of you know i have been in the u.s for the last 7 weeks , i came back and thought i might sign up to oztion.com. just searching around and i found a ps3 that had no bids and a start price of $299, so i bid $555, and i won the ps3 for $299 as the only bidder.
i have asked the seller for his details so i can pay him and he sends back this response:
"Dear spree-fan
dear spree-fan, drop ship these item and i buy them for 599.00 each these are brand new and for the price you paid i can't order this so if it is alright with you i have to cancel this sale"
what the hell is going on with that, i know nothing about oztion.com and have read up absolutely nothing about the sight, but is this aloud to happen???, as from my experience with ebay this would not be aloud to happen on ebay.
any input welcome, this is not a heated discussion as i don't really care what happens either way
thats crap mate,i have looked on there before, but unsure how they work, sounds like he didnt get the price he wanted and more or less saying badluck you cant have it,id be trying my best to get it
The seller is obligated to complete the sale, however we cannot force them to as per our User Agreement. They are able to 'cancel' the sale however you are also entitled to leave them an appropriate rating should you wish to do so.
Kind Regards,

OZtion Customer Service
does this sound like an ebay automated message???????
also got this from another member that won a similar item from the same seller................
I have also wond a ps3 the same day, same dealer as yourself, but haven't received an invoice, and all attempts to contact them has met with no answer. I was hoping to get it for the weekend, by express post, but can't get any banking details or reply at this time and am worried about being conned. i'm emailing you to ask if you have had the same problem, of if you could email me the banking details, as i can't even get an invoice sent. i've never struck this before, and have dealt on both ebay and oztion without any major dramas. your reply would be greatly appreciated.

first oztion experience has turned out to be very sour for me, i guess it can only get better
funny thing is johnno, i just got an email from a guy claiming to be a retail lawyer and he wants to take it to court with me as the same seller has done the same thing to him................................read this:
Well if this is infact the case, he's hit the wrong buyer, put it this way, I'm studing retail/wholesale
law right now, if he thinks that maybe being banned from oztion is the worst that can happen then
he will get a shock! he is guilty of fraud, and multiple cases, this means large fines and possible
prison time
don't know if i am prepared to take it that far when there was no real harm done.........................and i have already left the guy negative feedback
here is a quick update, i have given the seller negative feedback yesterday for not wanting to complete the sale and then this morning i wake up to an invoice from the guy and a plea to complete the sale.
now, nowhere in his add did he say that there was insurance of $75 and the other thing is it is an auction site and all auctions are G.S.T inclusive, so now in stead of having a ps3 at the measley sum of $322 he now wants $435.................this guy is an idiot.
i now have his address too, so scotty if you are up for it, i would like to go hurt him now
