The Michael Jordan Logoman is a joke. It must admit it does look really nice embedded into that SP Game Used Patch card, but it's a shame the original patch was removed in order to be replaced with an NBA Logoman patch. I'm sure that is the reason Upper Deck produce the NBA Logoman patches as "Logoman Cards" with the full patch in view.
The 2004-05 Ultimate Premium Patch Carmelo Anthony "ABA Patch" card seems to be too precise to be made from Upper Deck. It's like one person has tried to perfect the centering on the patch, and besides that has anybody even EVER seen this patch used in an NBA Memorabilia card before? This is the first time I see this type of patch logo all together, let alone on a basketball card.
Can anybody help me out and let me know wether this Kobe Bryant Autographed Patch card is legitimate? I know these cards to feature jersey relics and not patches like the one here. I have seen an Anfernee Hardaway Patch card in this set but the patch wasn't one that protruded out of the jersey, it was more or less "printed" on the jersey and was from the Phoenix Suns logo. And I still questioned that one too, but this Kobe Bryant card has got me stumpped at the moment.
Here's the picture below aswell as the actual link to the listing.
Thanks for your valued opinion regarding this matter, it totally makes sense what you said. I think I should message the seller and see what his opinion is regarding the whole "patch" issue.
With the previous Anfernee Hardaway listing I mentioned, I remember the seller stated that "Beckett writes there is a patch version which is way more rarer and epensive than the non-patch version." So I think that was maybe just a ploy to try and legitimise his listing.
Any other opinions on this Kobe Bryant Signature Jerseys card would be appreciated, because initially I was contemplating the fact wether I should send the seller my best offer on it.
oh my why iverson???. , if only UD can produce a copy of picture of every card patch they make, even if it is #/500 there wont be a problem if it was fake or not.
