Im thinking someone is getting kerbed this year to make room for that buy. Maybe Bull Bailey retiring, I don't know. Big, Big forwards pack if they can pull it off though. Dave Taylor, Luke Douglas, Nate Myles, Ash Harrison, Luke Bailey if he isn't finishing, Greg Bird, Ryan James, Jamal in the centres/Back row. Beau Henry is a big guy for a number 6.
was expecting more bagging out of beau scott when i came to the thread.
surely his decision has some sort of affect on the players. in saying that i would've left to, he made his intensions clear he wanted the 2nd row spot and price basically said no your replacing gasnier. and scott did the dirty and signed mid season, good on him.

I don't know that Princey is good enough any more. He is too predictable. He s***s me when he takes dives like some European Soccer player. He can't defend... the list goes on. I wouldn't be upset if they turfed him to QLD Cup and experimented a bit with half combinations. What about even buying Orford and pay him on a game payment basis with the leftover salary cap. Put Orford in 7 and Prince in 6... we can't do worse than what we are now.
The NRL is full of hypocrites. The same Saints fans that are up in arms about Bennett stealing players did not have such an issue with it 3 years ago when they did the same thing.
The system is the issue - its the NRL fault. You can bag a player for taking the most money on offer - anyone here would do the same thing.
Who followed Bennett from the Broncos to the Dragons? Boyd & Nick Emmett? Both of whom were unwanted by the Broncos by the way.
Bennett is on record saying he wouldn't pillage the Dragons.

Come on Ross - you guys need to get over it and get on with the season. You cant blame everything on Bennett 2 seasons in a row. Darius aside we hardly cherry picked your best players with Cuthbo or McKinnon.
You should be happy that Saints did not spend stupid money that we have on Scott. Personally i would rather be spending $500k a year on 2 up and coming players.
