Just a tip, Serpentine drafts usually work better for player-controlled teams. Allows those with a late pick, to get an early pick the next Round, rather than always being late/last each Round.

I don't know i posted about this, i decided to stick with my 6'8 SF 3 Point Specialist (got drafted 2nd to charlotte)

I'm playing in my 3rd season right now, i play on PRO to lazy to try harder levels

1st Season, i skipped half of it to the all star weekend stuff but it skipped straight passed it lol. I didn't win ROY, made the all rookie 1st team and won 6th Man of the Year. Made the playoffs, won against the Lakers in 7 Games in the Final and won the finals mvp

2nd Season, thought it was time to move on, went to the jazz, celtics but than finally ended up with the lakers and believe it or not we missed the playoffs and ended up with the 2nd worst record in the conference (we didn't have dwight btw). Won the scoring title, made a the all NBA 1st team i think.

3rd Season (NOW), i started off really well and so did the team but than we just started losing easy games and really didn't look like the team which could compete when i simulated games. So on the move i went again, i ended up with OKC, my numbers will probably go down but we should easily win the league.

WOW, I've NEVER seen a My Player be on a losing team, LAL dropping 2nd worse, that's crazy!! What are your averages?

My last game I played with my 6'7" PG (Drafted #1 OVR), I dropped 82pts 7rebs, 5asts, 2stls & 1blk. Shot 15/31 3s. lol, intentionally put up bombs JUST to get the 75pts Milestone.

Game before that, I had 59pts, 8rebs & 16asts, and before that was 72pts, 10rebs and 12asts.

I play on default (is that Pro?), and on 12min quarters.

I DID put in a demand for trade, and hoping to go to Mavs.

I started a new MyCAREER A couple of days ago. I absolutely destroyed the Rookie Showcase Game and went 5th to Sacremento. I am now 8 games through and our record is 0-8 . I am averaging: PPG - 18.9 RPG - 4.3 APG - 6.7 SPG - 0.7 BPG - 1.1

Just before my last game I requested a trade to the Heat in hopes of going to a team that can actually win atleast one game!

Oh, and I had my first start last game but I started at SG and I'm still starting at SG

I play on HOF with 12 minute quarters.

My averages during the year we missed the playoffs - 29.4 MPG, 32.6 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 3.7 APG, 1.3 SPG and 0.7 BPG

i play key games only and when i do its 6 min quarters on pro

Ah yeah, Key Games. Amazing how much of a difference the CPU makes when you don't play huh!

I ALMOST put this game back in last night, but decided to stick a movie on instead. You know, I'm STILL yet to complete a season of 2K13 either Association or My Player!

I put some points into my original My Player (was a 7'2" Face up C I think), and when I was almost 99 everything, I got bored too quickly. I think I still have that dude, but it was prior to the patches and updates. My #1 Draft Pick PG is still active, I'm still trying to get traded to Dallas, but it's not happening.

So having not been able to play my "normal" Xbox, with all my saves on it, etc, last night I created a new MP. I'm trying to make my own "white guy" version of Dwight Howard. I made one once, and called him Dwight White, but not this time. So my dude's 6'11", 265lbs and an athletic C.

Played an average (17pts, 8rebs, 1ast, 1blk) Rookie Showcase, and told each team to stick it, hoping to get to the Mavs, but ended up going Pick 23 to the Hawks. Not sure how that's going to work, with Horford, Smith, RC John Jenkins and myself, but I'll give it a go. Hey, I'm on the same team as Devin Harris!!!

I only played the 1 game last night, played 12mins VS Rockets, scored 12pts, 7rebs & 2blks. 6/7 FGs and 1 TO. We won 106-85.

I really like this guy already, I mean, I've had bigs before who just DON'T want to dunk, but this dude dunked 2 ON people (nothing flashy, just a pair of 2-handed stuffs from under the basket), actually I tell a lie, I done a reverse in the paint (catch and go straight up), which you could say was "on" someone. I had a couple of spin and dunk/layups and a couple of hooks.

Looking forward to making this dude a stud, and moving him on to Dallas one day if possible! ha ha.

I still have my PG, which I'll keep going. The dude was a #1 pick, so I HAVE to get him an MVP and Championship.

how do u guys put up big numbers? im a centre getting f*^k all time and im slow etc and cant shoot put picked at 15 from the bucks and avg 4 point 5 reb 1 block a game any help would be good

How many minutes you playing Bill? What setting are you on? It's best to start out on 12min quarters, and easiest (Rookie?) setting.

When you're on the court, do what ever you can to boost your team rating (setting picks, assists, points, rebounds, etc). Your best to set picks (you might end up with the odd-occasional roll-pass too!), and do your best to clog the paint, offensive boards are the easiest ways to rack stats early on, just watch the push in the back fouls that send your men to the floor, they look funny, but won't impress the coach.

If you get the ball down low, call out for an isolation play (your team mates will move away, and allow you to work on your own), then spin baseline and dunk/layup. Just watch your handles and security. If he's a BIG dude, back your defender down, and school his arse with a low-post move.

Re: smalls, they're easy to do shit with, cos you've always got the ball. Big dudes are harder to get going.

Oh, what sort of big do you have (all-rounder, rebounder, face up, etc)? Unless you're Athletic, you'll always be slow up and down the floor.

Do you plan on XBL???

hey mate I, playing around 15 mins I gotta see what difficulty im on when I get home and I do have 12 min qtrs. do leave picks etc but my stamina is so crap yeah might go a sg next time so I get the ball more and also im a all rounder. getting better each game but its taking awhile only played 5 games thus far

It'll take time building your players up early on, getting that team mate rep and playing time built up with the coach will pay off.

If you go to make a small, go with a PG. I made a 6'7" PG. Tall enough to play SG if needed, and being PG, you always have the ball and call the shots (plays).

Yeah bigs can be a bit harder to get going, but stick with it. Or if it's still early days, look to re-create him with another style.

I haver never gotten that close for a Triple Double in 11 Minutes, going to probably go back to my sf earn some VC and than use it for the PG
