If the sell sheet comes out this Friday, it will be a whole 2 and a half weeks before release date.

I know why they do it, but it seems like there is absolutely no buzz about this product at all at the moment.

Surely having the sell sheet out at least a month in advance would surely help push the product along create a bit of buzz and possibly lock in some presales with your resellers?

Just seems crazy to me?

You are 100% correct, the thinking from a marketing perspective defies logic.

When TNP were prepping the cricket the consistent release of images really helped build the excitement and I have no doubt this contributed to more significant sales.

Why hold the checklist back? If they are so concerned release a partial checklist each week for a month leading up to release.

I thought with the amount of unsold 12 LE and 13 Traders they could include redemptions for a box of these or ESP could run a tipping or fantasy comps where you could win a box.

Delta, check out the pics;
Treasure redemption entitles you to the future force cards, there are 30 of these cards out there somewhere.
Extreme treasure redemption entitles you to the whole set for the year. there are only 10 of them.
Select still say they have only received 8 of them for redemption, so there are 2 that have not been sent in as yet.
they are numbered out of 110. ie 108/110.
I was offered 11k only a few years ago.
So 2 left somewhere, any one want to buy an unopened box!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would be delighted if they drop the silver parallels from Traders.
Whatever they do I got the bug back watching the 9's and I'm all in. Been a long, cold, lonely summer - so show us what you've got ESP.

I actually wished that they dropped the black parallels first and foremost and then either dropped the silvers or gave us a different 1 per pack insert. Although I didnt collect 2006 Accolade, I really like the design of the Footy Faces.
