I think he should start of the bench for a few games just to see how it goes let his minutes gradually increase, plus he is what a 19 year old rookie playing the toughest position its a scary thought with all the great point guards in the league gunning for you.Lonzo Ball - the only guy in the NBA who uses a batting average as his field goal percentage.

Lol imagine what Lavar would say if he was starting off the bench
Yeah your right he can be efficient at times the passive part is the pressure & expectations it looks like when he misses a shot his down in the dumps which makes it worse he is no Magic Johnson, geez he aint even close to Penny Hardaway in my opinion. The weird thing is he actually usually has pretty good +/- ratings. It would be interesting to see if that changed with the 2nd unit.
Lol I'm starting to think the same way about Markelle Fultz is it his shoulder that's bothering him or is he a bust too?I'm ready to call him a bust. He can't get his shot off anyone when it really matters and defenses will just keep getting better against him once the scouting reports keep pouring in. Even guys who could shoot the ball with good shooting form have needed to adjust their mechanics to shoot it fractions of seconds faster to adjust to the NBA, like Kemba Walker. Lonzo's shot just stays in his hands for way too long. He's not athletic, he gets pushed around because of his build, and I've always thought his passing is over rated. Jason Kidd had no jumpshot when he got in the league, but you could see that he was really special with his passing and court vision. Lonzo's a bust and should be riding the pine.
Gotta give Fultz the benefit of the doubt with his injury but does Danny Ainge look like an absolute genius right now? Emphasis on 'right now'.Lol I'm starting to think the same way about Markelle Fultz is it his shoulder that's bothering him or is he a bust too?
Yeah think I'm jumping to conclusions with Fultz & yes Ainge made the right move great pickGotta give Fultz the benefit of the doubt with his injury but does Danny Ainge look like an absolute genius right now? Emphasis on 'right now'.
I think its early to judge but hes has scored in double digits “1 time” shooting below 30% ftf and below 24% ft and averages 33 mins, id say hes def struggling.I'm ready to call him a bust. Yeah Lonzo is definitely struggling. Even his one good game against a Suns team that was getting demolished by opponents by like 40 points. And Lakers barely won that game by 2. He isn't even the best rookie that the Lakers have. I said it before, Kuzma is the real deal and I think ROY would be between him and Simmons given the opportunity. But I'm liking this crop of rookies, they are a deep draft.I think its early to judge but hes has scored in double digits “1 time” shooting below 30% ftf and below 24% ft and averages 33 mins, id say hes def struggling.
I don't even think you can call it a slump when he never seems to ever have a good shooting night. NBA players at this level have a few bad stretches but they bounce back. Lonzo is getting worse and his confidence is shot. I just think he's better off getting 10-15 minutes as a back up instead of a starter. Sign a veteran point and show him the ropes in game situation. He's just not ready at this level.Just finished watching the lakers/philly game and i must say Lonzo looks very out of place just non existent. Also with Ingram-kuzma playing well is having an effect on his performance. Early in the 4th lakers took the lead everyone was off the bench and Lonzo was the only one sitting. This slump could last longer than we all think.
Totally agree, it looks to me he doesn’t want the ball at all in his hands, hes looking extremely pedestrian.I don't even think you can call it a slump when he never seems to ever have a good shooting night.
