Official 2015-16 NBA Season Thread

harden was like 0/12 FG in the 1st half......

His jump shooting has been awful so far. Statistically, Lawson and Harden are getting themselves more open looks than they've previously been used to. However both have been more successful slashing to the hoop instead so their ineffectiveness is now glaringly obvious and neither are known for their defensive prowess.

today's stats:

Drummond 18pts 19reb
Blake 34pts 8reb
Jamal Crawford 37pts 6reb 8ast
Vucevic 19pts 13reb
Harden 25pts 10ast
Lebron 37pts 12reb 5ast
Greg Monroe 16pts 17reb
Okafor 21pts 12reb
L.Aldridge 17pts 19reb
Eric Bledsoe 30pts 7reb
Curry 34pts 3reb 6ast
Thad Young 26pts 10reb
Draymond 16pts 10reb 12ast 2stl 4blk

Drummond is ridiculous. 17 points and 17 rebounds. Still early in the season but he's on track to record over 17 rebounds per game (currently 19.2rpg), joining Rodman as the only player in the past 23 years to average that many rebounds a game.

Zach LaVine 25pts
Carmelo 29pts 13reb
AD 36pts 11reb 4blk
Batum 33pts
Millsap 28pts
Marcus Smart 26pts 8reb
Cousins 36pts 10reb
Rondo 7pts 7reb 14ast
Drummond 17pts 17reb

Sacremento are quickly becoming one of my favourite teams.

Rondo back to the old rondo that we are used to seeing, George Karl seems as if his given him the keys to this Sacre team and his loving the floor general roll what can you say his got 3 triple doubles in the past 5 games and also that laser accuracy quite frankly ridiculous passing and can knock shots when needed.

DeMarcus Cousins is an absolute beast!!!! Can not beat this man.
Too strong
Can dribble the ball
To quick for the opposition centres
Beat you on the post, back down, dribble and that mans range. Can hit shots from anywhere and spreads the D draws the big men out of the paint and by god don't get him angry, scary man and takes the game by the scruff of the neck.
Oh and to mention DC (Darren Collison) still injuried.
Rudy Gay, Marco Belinelli, Omri Casspi, Cauley-Stein, Kosta Koufos, Ben McLemore.
That is a dangerous team and if they make playoffs they'll be a real dark cloud.
Sign Rondo and Boogie on the all star game teams now and watch Boogie take it to Curry for MVP.

You heard it first folks.

Okafor 19pts 12reb
Westbrook 40pts 14reb
Chalmers 29pts
Knight 30pts 10reb 15ast

@ChrisPalmerNBA: Brandon Knight is the only player to ring up 30p/15a/10r against the Lakers in 30 years.

Knight is also one of 3 players to average 30+ ppg against the lakers since the start of 2013. The other two being Durant & Harden.

I'm hoping that the 4th qtr of the Lakers v Suns was the start of the penny dropping for D'Angelo Russell - where he put up 11 points in 6 minutes, and was aggressively manuvering around the screen and toward the rim instead of trying to defer to the shooters all the time like he has in the previous 10 games of the season... Easily the best 5:45 he's played to date (and yes, I know where the score line was at). If he starts aggressive, it will create space for other parts of his game to flourish.

Porzingis 29pts 11reb
Whiteside 22pts 14reb 10blk
KAT 14pts 14reb
Wiggins 24 pts
Drummond 25pts 18reb
Reggie Jackson 23pts 12ast 6reb
Lebron 30pts 6reb
Brook Lopez 24pts 10reb
Gallinari 32pts 8reb 8ast
DeRozan / Lowry 28pts each

Harden has been awful, is it really the coaches fault? He was doing this all season long last year, lots of one on one iso plays..

Not surprising Matt. I read that Harden idolises Iverson and wants to emulate his game of taking whatever shot he wants whenever he wants. Umm, problem is that Iverson had Matt Geiger, Eric Snow, George Lynch, whole bunch of role players built around him to complement his ball hogging ways. Then again, maybe Harden has been distracted with his woman and the Odom saga..
